I was looking for a fish restaurant and several traders in the center suggested Il Gozzo to me, so intrigued by the various reports and reading the reviews available on Google I decided to try it too and I did absolutely well. I confirm all the positive opinions, dishes studied in detail while maintaining in some ways the simplicity of the ingredients. Genuine taste and truly high-quality raw materials. EXCELLENT RESTAURANT STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. The staff are friendly, professional and extremely welcoming. They also helped me with a specific dietary requirement, I needed a particularly light second course of grilled fish. Even in this simplicity I was able to appreciate the quality of the fish served. Very good and above all very fresh, in my opinion the BEST IN ALL OF SALERNO. I also greatly appreciated the greeting from the Chef, whom I thank very much again for the wonderful experience. I will definitely return at any opportunity. Thanks to all the staff.

Localino molto carino nel cuore di Salerno, ideale per una cena elegante e gustosa. Il posto è arredato con calore e gusto e il personale molto cordiale e professionale. Il menu offre una gamma ristretta di proposte , tutte buonissime , cucinate con sapienza e servite con stile. Una cena da leccarsi i baffi… Scelgo di assegnare 4 stelle e non 5 solo perché le porzioni erano veramente ridotte se paragonate al prezzo ( abbastanza caro) delle pietanze. È un posto chic e si mangia benissimo, ma qualche grammo di pasta in più nei piatti avrebbe fatto la differenza per i clienti e non avrebbe di certo impoverito i gestori. Mio parere personale.
