70s place, you feel like you're entering someone's house, the waiter is a little strange but knows how to do his job well. We took picci with garlic, pappardelle with duck ragù, a couple of pizzas to finish with desserts. Everything is good, even the price.

Finally the restaurant I was hoping to find. The trattoria of the past as an environment and as a service. Excellent dishes from the platter of cold cuts and cheeses to the extraordinary pici all'aglione but also delicious with ragù, the tagliatelle is also excellent and many traditional local dishes. All served together with the friendliness of the owner always ready to have a chat. The outdoor garden with pergola is also beautiful. In short, all the charm of the traditional and typical that is disappearing and absolutely to be defended.

We passed by and found it open asking if it was still possible to eat because it was a bit late in our opinion there were 4 of us and we were told that there were no problems so we sat down and everything was ok 👍👍👍👍 Mr. is truly hospitable, kind and professional Joseph....

Accolti come in un'osteria,dove l'oste è capace a far tutto ed è il protagonista Luogo semplice ma bello ,genuino e accogliente Buonissimi i pici,i fagioli,le erbe ripassate e la spianata fatta da lui Buono il vino e prezzi nella media Benvenuti anche i cani

Per me è di famiglia questo ristorante . Ero piccolo e venivano da Pino ed è tutto perfetto e di altissima qualità dagli antipasti a finire con le pizze passando per la carne

Non posso dare un voto del tutto soggettivo essendo conoscente del proprietario,ma le porzioni no. Esageratamente grandi mi sono sembrate ottime così come l'ambiente sotto una pergola.

01/04/2024: The people who served us were very friendly and the food is unbeatable. They helped us choose a wine to accompany the food and the place was empty by the time we went to eat (approximately 3 pm). I highly recommend!

01/04/2024: Easter weekend. The best place to stay if you want to visit Siena /Val d'Orcia/ and various villages in the area. The guys are helpful and friendly, professional staff and perfect location. There are also board games available in the relaxation room which gave us the opportunity to enjoy ourselves and not get bored on a rainy afternoon. A hydromassage tub is available as a plus service, to be booked, it's worth it. We decided to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Super breakfast, really friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back!! Thank you guys!
30/03/2024: We spent a long WE with family and a group of friends. Listing all the positive points of Le Macine would be too long and in any case would not do justice to the place and the dedication and care that the owners and staff put into their work every day. In short, you have to go there and see for yourself. Among other things, if you want to visit the surroundings, the staff will be able to advise you and organize trips to the classic and/or lesser-known places in the surrounding area. - Welcome: we arrived after dinner and the concierge personally came out to welcome us, invite us in, complete the check-in procedures and show us the hotel and the room. Customer care is something that is in the DNA of all staff. - Attention to detail: the entire hotel is perfectly looked after, right down to the most hidden corners - Food: the Chef will delight you with his dishes even if it is reductive to define them simply as dishes. - Sommelier: The Sommelier will be able to answer all your questions and advise you on the best pairings with the numerous labels in the cellar. - The location: Le Macine has been completely renovated recently (for example, swimming pool, hydromassage, sauna in a private corner of the garden) and there are still new things to come but you will have to discover these for yourself. In short, if you want to spend a relaxing time and feel truly pampered while immersed in nature... go there.
