Ferro di Cavallo In Palermo

Another tip from the endless YouTube, especially regarding the classic Pasta ala Norma and Pasta con la sarde. There were only seats left inside, but it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter where you sit in Palermo, someone next door is always on the phone in Dolby 8.1.🤣 Both pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and totally convincing. The price is totally reasonable and the service is super nice. Definite tip.

Easily the best food and service we got in Palermo all week. We arrived just before the kitchen was opening, so we managed to get a table right away. (There was a long queue for service when we were leaving, so if you want a table, get there early!). We ordered several mains and starters (for a table of six), and everything was great. Of all the things, Norma, Nero di Seppia, and Caponata stood out as exceptioally good.

The place is very crowded but it's because the food quality is very very high and prices are more than fair. Not the turistic place you might want to avoid when in Palermo. I would definitely go again!!

If you are looking for a good price you don't need to look much further. Perhaps the weakest points are that since it is so economical for what they offer, you do not have such personalized attention and treatment.

Very friendly place, lots of people, especially Italians, but an efficient welcome who finds you a place quickly without having reserved. Delicious food, especially dry ink pasta. Addition 87€ for 5.

Characteristic location, with typical Sicilian dishes, mediocre food. Before, it was a little better in terms of food and portions. What I regret is that every time I go to pay I don't end up with the bills, they always charge us something extra like money and since I always go there with guests I never get into arguments precisely to avoid unnecessary embarrassment.

Piatti tipici Siciliani a costi contenuti. Consigliato da un amico di Palermo ho pensato di cenare tentando di prenotare al telefono: non accettano prenotazioni . Ci si presenta e se c'è posto ..si mangia.Per fortuna il locale non è picolo e si può mangiare anche all esterno . Involtini di melanzana e di pesce spada ottimi ;anche pasta alla marinara pesce fresco. Poi ogni giorno pesce pescato poche porzioni proprio di ciò che ha offerto il mare quel giorno. Tovaglia in carta con i piatti ed i prezzi indicati a lato (4/5 antipasti 4/5 primi e secondi e dolci : sono specializzati su quei piatti sempre freschi vista l'affluenza).Personale attento e veloce. Cantina non immensa ma valida La sera se non si vuole aspettare in coda cena entro le 19,30 (i turisti nordici - i locali arrivano dopo le 21). Aneddoto simpatico : all'uscita ho notato una coda in attesa . La cosa non è sfuggita al titolare che è uscito offrendo spumante e aperitivo gratis per ingannare l'attesa ..... (certo non potrebbe succedere in Brianza ) a riprova dell'attenzione al cliente .

Trattoria storica e tipica di Palermo. Location molto colorata, tovaglia di carta, nessun tavolo apparecchiato, ma ci sta, visto il coperto 1€. Pochi piatti ma cucinati davvero bene! Servizio nei tempi giusti, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato!
