Enoteca Il Cacio Brillo In Cortona

We came to Cortona a few days after leaving Rome. This is the bar I accidentally visited when buying dinner. The overall experience was great! I visited again after dinner and met many friends from all over the world. The service was also first-rate. Highly recommended!

small and pleasant place with tables overlooking one of the beautiful squares of Cortona. ideal for a short stop for lunch or in the afternoon, if you are visiting the area. I don't agree with some of the reviews that were disappointed by not having found the service and quality of a restaurant or trattoria, in my opinion the place has an offering that is consistent with the way it presents itself, that of a "snack shop". the service with us was attentive and kind, the tables were well cleaned and set (unlike what I read in other reviews) and yes we had to wait a bit since we were on a long weekend for Christmas but the manager had the thought of offering us each a second mulled wine to be "forgiven": a gesture that is not at all obvious and much appreciated.

It was indicated to us as the best place in Cortona to have an aperitif. Honestly, there is better in Cortona and at lower prices. A little disappointed!

Prima tappa di una gita abbiamo deciso di fermarci in questo locale situato proprio nel centro città per degustare prodotti tipici e vini locali. Tutto nella media buono il tagliere e ottimo il vino (Montepulciano). Tuttavia ci aspettavamo qualcosa in più sopratutto dal servizio.
