Trattoria vecchia maniera come piace a noi. La ragazza di sala simpatica con infanzia a Torpigna. Ottimi i primi ( pici gnocchi ravioli, delizioso l abbacchio e ottimo il cinghiale in umido accompagnato da un vino casareccio

BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. My husband and I have lived and travelled all over. We are Chicagoans and have Lived in NYC, two places known for pizza. We've tried pizza all over Italy. THIS is the pizza we talk about to everyone. The crust is like air it's so thin and wonderful. We came back to Cortona just for this pizza! But it is closed in December. We are considering extending our stay in the region just so we can wait until the restaurant opens again. Seriously, it's that good.

Siamo stati alla mostra del Signorelli ed abbiamo mangiato una pizza la sera.....Direi che era buonissima e con ottimi ingredienti, una bella accoglienza locale non grandissimo ma accogliete e pulito. Vista la qualità abbiamo deciso il giorno dopo di pranzarci prima di partire. Pranzo veramente buono abbuiamo preso pici alla contadina e pici al cinghiale abbondanti e veramente deliziosi. I dolci altrettanto, il prezzo giusto, meno della media generale. personale attento e gentilissimo.

Ambiente tranquillo...una trattoria semplice piatti toscani, abbiamo preso due ribollite, funghi porcini,....prezzo nella media un po' più attenzione al servizio... quand o un cliente dice grazie...il prego dovrebbe essere di cortesia...

20/04/2024: Beautiful location in the historic city, friendly and competent staff, delicious food served with art. The experience is worth repeating. Prices not popular but not expensive either. Only one doubt: why "cheese shop"?
03/01/2024: Quality products and friendly staff, we had a great time.... extremely intimate situation! We went in for an aperitif and ended up having lunch!

31/03/2024: Having dinner or lunch here always has something special. It may be the room overlooking the waterfall, it may be the beauty of the Casentino but as soon as I have the chance, I make a stop at the Hospital. The selection of wines (Il Puro, my favourite), the first courses, the meat and the desserts. Even just for breakfast, it's worth going there
