What can I say, I visited many pizzerias for pizza I always say that we mean pizza classic Neapolitan. For once I won't go into too many lines but will limit myself to pointing out this place as one of the best culinary offers in the Catania area. To try again from the entrée At dessert. Compliments.

Last night we left this pizzeria happy. Laying more similar to a classic cart wheel. Light dough and never tough to the bite. Excellent quality raw materials. Definitely more enjoyable than many other "Neapolitan" restaurants in the city, beautiful to look at but inconsistent in substance and with a quality/price ratio, with an unjustifiably high denominator. Il Borghetto is one of my recommended addresses in Catania.

I gave 4 stars only because I wasn't ready for Sicilian pizza, which is more substantial than the real Neapolitan one and I didn't expect it, but the very kind pizza chef took my "pain in the ass feedback" and made it for me again with lighter dough. and therefore thinner. Very nice place and very friendly staff, prices that respect the quality of the raw materials used, highly recommended place!

Very simple pizza, nothing exciting but good, light dough but excessively thin. Few condiments. Chips cooked to perfection but frozen, not fresh. Service a little careless only because sometimes they didn't pay attention but pizzas arrived immediately even if there was confusion. The place seems to have been recently renovated, it is well looked after and well lit, but a little small and you can hear a lot of noise.

05/04/2024: Beautiful setting, a delightful corner overlooking the bay of San Giovanni Li Cuti. As for the aperitif, a bit disappointing in terms of variety, quantity and presentation... I would also place some table centrepieces, to recall the marine or even Sicilian atmosphere matching the dark brown heads on display... but that's just my point of sight! Cute music wallpaper 🎶🎧😉 Hoping to meet you...
