We passed by and as it was very cold we decided to go in for a coffee. We ordered a coffee, a cappuccino and a sweet from Brotei and it was 6 euros (in Pienza I found everything more expensive). The coffee was ok, normal cappuccino and I didn't like the sweet (puff pastry and heavy cream). Italian service, if you know what I mean.

Excellent bar in the square in Pienza, the very kind waitress presented us with all the specialties, delicious and fresh cold cuts, the fried pecorino is sublime. Great prices

08/05/2024: Recently renovated hotel with large rooms. Beautiful view of the valley from one side. Delicious breakfasts and friendly service. Part of the hotel under renovation in 2024. Approx. 20 minutes walk from San Gimignano.

09/04/2024: An oasis of healthy and tasty food with valid vegetarian and vegan options, a welcoming and well-kept environment, a wide range of organic and quality products. Super recommended!
12/12/2023: Unfortunately I haven't tried the gluten free pizza and bread yet (which I will do very soon) but there was one thing that struck me greatly: the warmth and big heart of the owners. I wanted a hot meal and although they offered me some of their products for sale (which today didn't meet my needs) in the end the owner did a gesture that nowadays no one would ever dream of doing: he took care of me as if I were her friend. Smiling, he gave me a handful of peanuts (delicious by the way) telling me that if I didn't find anything at least I had something to munch on. I was almost moved. I will definitely come back to try the bread made by them with gluten free sourdough and the pizza. Thank you so much for your human side and I'm sorry if I drove you crazy. 💖
