In addition to the two Venetian classics: "baccala mantecato" and "sarde en saor" - cod cream garnished with a sophisticated green tomato, which gave the whole thing a rounded finish, and marinated sardine with divine pickled onions, another with finely sliced ​​ones Mortadella - goat cheese cream garnished with pickled peppers and pistachios. There were also three balls of Polpette fritte: Gorgonzola with beetroot (mega), tuna and meat (very well seasoned). I found them all delicious and will definitely be back. But there is no end to the praise, the staff is warm and super friendly. You sit right on the canal and can listen to the local hustle and bustle and watch fishermen with ink-smeared hands catching their catch from the nets. What more do you want?!

18/03/2024: Cicchetteria tipica nel cuore di Venezia. Sono andata lì perché consigliata da un’amica e sono rimasta assolutamente soddisfatta (fatto anche il bis). Cicchetti ottimi, così anche le polpette ed il vino. Bellissimi i tavolini sull’ esterno. Di posti così ce ne sono tanti, ma dovendo tornare, tornerei sul sicuro.

They follow you very well and you even have a laugh!!! You can see they put their heart into it❤️ unfortunately I can't add photos because I finished everything immediately without wasting time😁

16/04/2024: My husband and I just returned from a lovely stay. The rooms are beautiful and everything I was looking for to introduce my husband to this romantic city. I look forward to recommending this hotel to friends living in/ traveling to Europe as it is truly a one of a kind experience. We would absolutely return.

16/04/2024: Do NOT stay here if you sleep even remotely hot. Air conditioning does not exist in this ancient building. We got moved the first night since the AC didn’t work. Then the second room’s AC broke down throughout the 2nd and 3rd night and the only solution was a remote fan. Stay here if you want to pay a four star price for a two star experience. Staff were good but if sleeping without sweating profusely is a priority, go elsewhere!

07/04/2024: Avoid at all costs. Couldn't taste the food because the manager was so obnoxious that we turned around. Not a glance from him or even an ounce of consideration. I have never been so unwelcome in my entire life. HOWEVER, just opposite there is the SALVMERIA restaurant whose cuisine is excellent, changes every day, with a smiling, caring and very attentive chef. We actually ate there twice.!!!

04/04/2024: Amazing food and handmade pasta. I had the pasta with tuna and it was incredible. They even let me order a small side of arancini to try. It was the best food I’ve had in Italy and the owner and servers are incredibly nice!
