04/05/2025: Scelto per il nome e le recensioni e devo dire che siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Cibo buono e servizio veloce, sopratutto molto disponibile per soddisfare le mie esigenze di intolleranze varie. Gestore, cuoco e camerieri molto simpatici e di compagnia. Vivamente consigliato.

28/04/2025: Siamo stati qui per il compleanno di mia sorella prenotando prima per sicurezza. Il personale non sapendo nulla del compleanno ha retto il gioco benissimo, essendo la cena una sorpresa. Ringrazio moltissimo per questa cosa perché si sono dimostrati estremamente cordiali ed è uscita una bellissima festa. Abbiamo ordinato una costata di ottima qualità per 3 persone da 1.5 kg, un piatto del giorno (asparagi bianchi e uova), ed un branzino. Tutto veramente da 10 e lode. La torta l'abbiamo fatta fare da una pasticceria vicino, e con scontrino annesso per evitare problemi. Qualità prezzo direi giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Assolutamente consigliato!!

29/06/2025: Not recommended. I would start with the welcome we received from the staff, we received a welcome glass of prosecco from the girl (the most polite of the staff) which was promptly taken away from us by another waiter because, according to them, it could have been contaminated by pollen from the plants next to it and it was never brought back to us. They brought us the menu and we noticed the prices of the courses per 100 grams but without the possibility of choosing the quantities, a sort of rip-off, as you don't know the true value of the dish until payment. We also noticed a somewhat superficial attitude of the staff and the owner towards us, reserving different attention (including waiting times) to customers with multiple courses ordered, something that should never happen from professionals. I would conclude with the prices, we came from a lunch on the Amalfi coast overlooking the sea and there were no such exaggerated prices as in this place. The quality of the fish was certainly good but nothing unavailable in other places.

07/07/2025: I don't understand the negative reviews here at all. The menu, the quality, the service, and the ambiance have been excellent for years. We were there the last few days - despite the restaurant being completely full both inside and out, we got everything very quickly, the food was great, and despite the large number of guests and the heat, everyone was friendly! For me, the best restaurant in Porlezza! Thank you :-)

21/06/2025: Short cut Good potatoes Very good parmigiana Too bad about the bad experience with the meat, unfortunately it went a bit too far in conservation... It's not the first time that it happens to me in different places, I've always eaten meat and I know it well. It's not a question of aging or particular flavor of foreign meats, but rather of poorly preserved meat. Strong smell also felt at the next table, the diners at the table turn around and confirm that their meat (different cut) had the same smell and flavor. Obviously, as every time I kindly point it out, we are told that it is the type of meat... basically, the same story everywhere... more cuts of different types had the taste and smell of rotten meat... but oh well, maybe I'm crazy... To be precise, we are talking about the Brazilian cut that was supposed to be accompanied by Palmito... of which not even a shadow... Bread missing... Too bad because the fillet with truffle and the parmigiana are worth it, ruining yourself like this is a shame In the meantime, I'm walking around Gaeta at midnight looking for an open pizzeria after a day of fasting...

11/07/2025: I saw this restaurant on The Amazing Race & wanted to try it. We each ordered a pizza, it was good & came out pretty quickly. They forgot the ham on my friend's pizza so she was a bit disappointed but being hungry, she didn't ask for a new one to be made. Seating area is outside along the street. We went pretty late & there was no wait for a table. Prices are reasonable.

27/04/2025: We stayed at Borgo San Francesco and we can only define it as a true corner of paradise! The location surrounded by nature is simply wonderful: the greenery that surrounds every corner conveys a unique feeling of peace and tranquility, perfect for those seeking relaxation away from the chaos. The rooms are spotless, with attention to every detail and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Special thanks go to Mr. Antonio, manager of the internal restaurant: every morning he welcomed us with a sincere smile and rare kindness, also offering us excellent advice on what to visit in the surrounding area. His availability and human warmth made our experience even more special. We highly recommend Borgo San Francesco to everyone, but in particular to families, because it is a safe, relaxing and perfectly organized place to experience moments of serenity together with your loved ones. We can't wait to return.

23/06/2025: We had a great time, the staff was kind and welcoming. The food was really excellent, the pizza was delicious. The only flaw was that I found a dark hair on the dessert (I'm blonde) that was taken off the bill. Otherwise, the dessert was delicious down to the hair. However, I recommend it for eating a pizza.

01/07/2025: Nice atmosphere at the outdoor tables in this restaurant nestled in a corner of the walls, great for intimate and quiet situations. The menu does not offer many options but offers imaginative solutions. I recommend the beef tartare with burrata and hazelnut and as a first course the trofie with red pesto and lime (I leave a photo). Fair prices for what we ate.

14/06/2025: Well, we had lovely experience here last night . The waiter was friendly and chatty . He was happy to let us have as long as we wished to enjoy a drink and the view before ordering food. I was sipping a rather splendid Chianti Classico, which for €30 was excellent and served slightly chilled for the climate....perfect. We just had pizzas which were top drawer.....I went for the ham and cheese with a few extra euros for buffalo mozzarella....one of the nicest pizzas I've ever had. My wife went for one with truffle which she thoroughly enjoyed. I will 100% return here !

06/07/2025: A restaurant located in an alley of Ostuni, a place cared for in the smallest details, typical characteristics of tradition but furnished in a modern style. Managed by two very attentive and friendly women, the menu is vast, the dishes are tasty and cooked at the moment. I also recommend it for the cleanliness that I noticed in general and also for the quality of the products.
