01/05/2025: Gusti nuovi interessanti però parte del gelato è caduto subito a terra perché non aveva struttura e nonostante che per un cono avessi pagato ben euro 8,10 hanno fatto finta di niente. Peccato

29/04/2025: Già provato anche a Firenze, il gelato ha gusti particolari ed è buono, però per 3,80€ il cono piccolo pretenderei un gusto più ricercato. Almeno possono vantare dei coni migliori di quelli che spesso si trovano nelle gelaterie.

21/11/2024: Our 'second home' for more than 25 years. Truly Italian campsite, beautiful location on Lake Bolsena, no luxury but large pitches, hospitable reception, super friendly owners and employees, cozy terrace and delicious restaurant.

30/06/2025: Sunday lunch: expensive place, poor quality. Fish risotto, all frozen of questionable quality. Soft taralli open for days and dry and hard bread. Fast service (even too fast). No wi-fi, wobbly table, they made the wrong coffee. Nice location, shame that from some tables (ours) you couldn't see anything, clean environment. Terrible value for money, place not recommended, not to return.

13/06/2025: I'm telling you, I'm telling you... 25th anniversary, I drive 100km to surprise the lady. Are we going to the beach to eat in 🐟?!?!?. I arrive at 1.10pm. I order a seafood linguine for the child... saying, be careful. Quick, he's hungry. For us, calmly, an appetizer and then a nice grill... at 2.10pm. The staff is nice but absent, they avoided the table, I pointed out to them... that the child didn't receive anything....?!?!?! Now I'm going to the kitchen. Come back, sorry for the delay. 5 minutes, he's coming... 3pm. I totally freak out... I call the girl saying that I don't like being made fun of... the owner can call me.... a young girl arrives, boooo, I show off, saying. Congratulations, you managed to ruin a great day.. In the meantime, the appetizer, linguine and grill arrive.. The heart of the restaurant is the kitchen. I think they are few and ill-equipped to go to war .... I forgot the linguine after 2 15 minutes cold I found them on the bill. Go if you want to get pissed off otherwise ....

09/05/2025: Too expensive for the quantity, but above all it's worth even less for the quality. Two strands of pasta with 6 clams €14 ????..... The terrible thing was my children's pasta with sauce with no flavor, practically colored water for €8 which I even had to send back for being inedible. Fried foods soaked in oil. Never again

09/07/2025: Much better than other reservations say, it's old but super clean, comfortable and large bed, functional bathroom with free shampoo, air conditioning, refrigerator... it has everything you need, the hotel staff are very friendly and at reception they spoke to us in Spanish

03/12/2024: Classic osteria/trattoria where you eat well, homely atmosphere, don't expect classic restaurant furniture. Suggestive. I went other times years ago and the portions are always abundant. I only had garlic, oil and chilli 'nettunese' style... Very good! It's not a very big place, or there aren't many tables, but as I've already written it's a trattoria where you eat well. Honest prices in relation to the quantity and goodness of the product.

07/07/2025: The sandwiches may be good but we entered after Messina in line at 9:30 pm and at 11:00 pm they started bringing the first sandwiches for us. Poor service, impossible in fact

03/07/2025: I'm not from the area and after several years we finally found a time when there was no queue so I tried it, curious to understand where the fame of the place comes from. The sandwiches are huge. The bread is light and crunchy (this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your tastes). The basic version is very simple if you want some vegetables, mushrooms, cheese you have to add ingredients and the price goes up. I had the sandwich with chicken breast, lettuce leaf and fresh tomato. The meat was grilled, without salt or oil or spices. My sandwich was generally dry and not very tasty, I asked for salt. €7 My husband had a complete sandwich with a burger of young beef, bacon, aubergines in oil, mozzarella etc., very abundant and very greasy, he liked it a lot, however we arrive at €16 and it's not a small amount. In general if for you the quantity is a determining factor and more important than interesting combinations this place is very good. Come very early or arm yourself with saintly patience.

25/05/2025: Ottimo! Servizio ok cortese e velocissimo. Qualità dei primi e dei fritti buona . Ottima Pulizia dei locali compreso il bagno sia uomini che donne ! Do 5 stelle per il rapporto qualità prezzo e l'esperienza in generale. Se posso dare un consiglio al proprietario unico piccolissimo neo é la situazione igienica del coperto che si trova il cliente quando arriva: I tavoli che stanno sotto alla rampa di accesso della piazza restano inevitabilmente al di sotto del livello stradale e quindi quando si arriva si trova a tavola un po di tutto anche peli di cane che ho dovuto soffiare via prima di mangiare. Magari una spazzolata ai tavoli datela prendete questo consiglio perché per il resto il locale é ottimo davvero. 5 stelle

25/04/2025: Un’ora per gli antipasti niente da togliere a loro eh però il resto…. Un altro ora per il primo che era un bucatino all’amatriciana chiesto esplicitamente senza pecorino, secondo voi l’hanno messo? CERTO haha. un’altra ora per i secondi e adesso arriva il bello haha; Carne cruda in una servita anche senza rucola, Pesce sbagliato nella tartare, Salsa mischiata male in un’altra. Posto orrendo con un servizio peggio ancora. Ottimo posto da scegliere se non si vuole andare in un ristorante buono. Abbiamo pagato comunque 100 euro bleah. Poi abbiamo chiesto il tonno ed è arrivata l’ombrina che non sapevo neanche fosse un pesce haha

21/05/2025: Article 14 of Legislative Decree 206/2005, known as the Consumer Code, establishes that: "The professional must indicate clearly and visibly, on the product or its packaging, or on the label, or by means of tags or other durable means, the retail price including value added tax and any other tax and duty". Unfortunately, this business is not interested in what the law says. In fact, by displaying a given price, at the cash register they ask for almost double. I do not recommend!

01/07/2025: We visited Rome for 6 days and tried so many different gelaterias, including the most famous and recommended ones. Well, no other gelateria could beat this one - all of the tastes are AMAZING, my personal favorite is the Nougat. On the 3rd day we decided that we won't try any other places, because the gelato here is out of this world. You can sit inside, where it's very well air conditioned and not crowded at all, although this place deserves to be crowded.

22/06/2025: We weren't going to go in, but we were invited in so warmly (a rare thing in Italy) that we changed our plans and had lunch here. It was very quiet and pleasant, and we were quickly served our food, which was very good. Thank you.

11/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato all’Osteria Toscanelli in una splendida giornata di maggio, con una comitiva di amici. Il locale si trova in posizione incantevole, a due passi dal mare. Il parcheggio in zona può essere complicato da reperire, ma l’accesso è comodo anche per persone con disabilità. Abbiamo pranzato all’esterno, accolti da un personale numeroso, cortese e professionale. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno, il servizio è stato rapido. La cucina ha soddisfatto in pieno le aspettative: antipasti vari e gustosi, primi piatti ricchi di sapore e una frittura asciutta e croccante. Materie prime di buona qualità e porzioni generose. Nel complesso, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato per chi cerca una buona cucina di mare in un contesto rilassante e ben gestito.

04/05/2025: Consiglio! Il posto meraviglioso si mangia benissimo,il personale è molto accogliente, gentile e ti fanno sentire come fossi a casa. Ci ritorneremo

22/04/2025: We stayed on Easter Sunday, unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because: The menu included fried vegetables in batter and baked vegetables au gratin which we did not receive (this I understand because being a day of celebration with many people it can happen), when we told the waitress she apologized and put them in a container to take them home as we wanted. Good cheeses and cold cuts, good lasagna and trofie with artichokes and bacon. The menu included free-range chicken (it tasted like nothing) with potatoes roast and roast lamb which we didn't take because we don't eat it so I can't comment on what it was like. A nice menu at a more than good price of €35, but the surprise came when we paid €13 for half a liter of house wine (in my opinion €26 is a bit much for a liter of house wine).
