The mocetta, the local wine, the superlative legume and chestnut soup, bread and fontina which is worth 10 cum laude are delicious.
The guys at the service are very good!
Typical Aosta Valley environment like in the past!

03/04/2024: We tested the hotel and restaurant on a half board basis for 3 days during the Easter holidays and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are very beautiful and well-kept, bathrooms included and also all the common areas, in particular the reading room, with TV and fireplace, sofas and games to relax after a day on the snow. The hotel is well located for skiing, not just alpine skiing. We would like to point out the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff and the quality of the furnishings, products and services offered. Varied and rich breakfast, like dinner with always generous portions.
15/03/2024: It's absurd that there still exist hotels that don't accept dogs. Only small size I was told! What changes then is unknown. Absurd.

06/03/2024: To be avoided. We choose a starter and are told that it has not been available for a week but they forgot to remove it.
The rest is of low quality and the service is entrusted to a waiter who leaves the room for half an hour to go to the kitchen to discuss with the owners, making himself heard by the whole room astonished.
Then they make you spend 80 euros for 2 first courses, one second course, 1 scant glass of wine!!!
26/02/2024: We will never go back again! Poor quality of dishes, very little choice and a really expensive bill for what we ate! A glass of wine practically costs as much as a bottle!!

06/04/2024: Very good food, slow service (but I think it's typical of mountain places where people have the privilege of not having to rush), high prices (16 euros for a polenta with only cheese, although really delicious).
Friendly staff, nice environment.
Maybe they would say something to the parents who make their children (barefoot?) watch cartoons at the table... it's not respectful towards the other customers.

08/03/2024: Dopo una passeggiata a Arpy siamo scesi a La Thuile e abbiamo scelto questo ristorante molto carino e ben arredato, dove pranzare. Pietanze gustose e prelibate, attenta ricerca nella presentazione del piatto, lo staff molto gentile e premuroso anche nei confronti della nostra cagnolina. Grazie ritorneremo volentieri.
23/02/2024: Il cibo non è di cattivo gusto ma i prezzi non corrispondo alle aspettative.
I piatti sono molto semplici, il contorno (patate saltate al timo) era crudo. I crostini di pane che ci hanno portato erano bruciati.
Abbiamo ordinato un calice di vino, ci hanno portato un calice da 100 ml, alla modica cifra di 7€. Non lo consigliamo assolutamente. Ci sono posti a pochi metri da questo ristorante che meritano molto di più.

01/04/2024: Had a lovely lunch here. Good local food and super friendly service. We came a second time and it was just as good. Proper Aosta food after a morning skiing pow. Just what my body needs, the alpage soup and the beef fillet wrapped in lard were purely medicinal for achey legs. Couple of killer Aosta wines really helped soothe the pain. The whole experience is just what anyone who loves food and the the mountains could wish for.
19/03/2024: The restaurant offers outdoor tables, surrounded by lots of snow with a spectacular view of the Matterhorn, a wonderful day. The food was also excellent, we had lunch and the dishes are inspired by local cuisine. Impeccable service. Advised!

14/03/2024: Tornare un esperienza terribile , oltre che tutto lo staff nuovo e non professionale per un posto così bello , cucina molto scarsa e in più sentivo una forte puzza di fumo in sala e i bicchieri maleodoranti . Mi dispiace tantissimo che si sia ridotto così questo bellissimo locale !
Darò un'altra possibilità in futuro perché è tappa fissa quando passo dalla Thuile sperando di trovare una situazione migliore (su google non fa recensire).
03/03/2024: Raggiungo un gruppo di amici che avevano prenotato, chiedo un misto salumi e formaggi con una birra piccola.
La presentazione, la qualità, l’assortimento davvero pessima!
Per una modica spesa di €€25,00……

Strongly recommended!
17/03/2024: Dinner after a rather heavy day of skiing. Excellent cured meats, a good first course, a pleasant second course and finally a dessert. Spent the right amount considering being in one of the most glamorous and well-known ski resorts abroad. Very kind staff. Highly recommended.

06/01/2024: Credo che se questo ristorante fosse in città (quindi comodo da raggiungere) sarebbe impossibile trovare posto anche prenotando 1 anno prima. Location carinissima, personale preparato, cortese e molto accogliente (spiegava meticolosamente ogni portata) ma la punta di diamante è di certo la cucina: abbinamenti perfetti e gusti ricercati fanno di questo posto un ristorante gourmet che nulla ha da invidiare a nessuno. Lo chef Paul è stato un ottimo padrone di casa, capace di esprimere al meglio i sapori di questa regione. Più che una cena è stata una piacevolissima esperienza. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff.
