I'd say this is one of the best seafood restaurants in Milan. The flavors and presentation are superb. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. However, the portions are small considering the prices.

We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get in right away when we arrived at 12:30.
The appetizer, the red shrimp tartare and sorbet, was incredibly delicious.
The tiramisu was also superb. I especially loved those two.
The cacio e pepe was, of course, delicious too.
It was also nice that they divided the dishes for sharing.

Easily the best dinner of this trip.
From the very beginning, there was a quiet sense of care — even the way the coats were received, handed in with a claim ticket, set the tone for what followed.
Every detail in the space felt intentional and well considered, without ever becoming showy.
The food carried the same precision: balanced, composed, and confident in a way that didn’t need explanation.
What stood out most, though, was the service — exceptionally well trained, attentive in the right moments, and always one step ahead without being visible.
The kind of place that quietly defines the standard for everything that comes after.

Da Giacomo Mian presents a well-executed upscale seafood dining experience with a clear focus on atmosphere and product quality. The setting is refined yet relaxed, striking a balance that works well for both business and couple dining.
Execution on food is strong: the raw starter platter was fresh, well-composed, and properly balanced, while the shared sea bass was cleanly prepared and aligned with expectations for this category.
Service is efficient, though not particularly distinctive, and pricing sits at the upper end relative to portion sizing.
I would return, especially for a composed dinner as a couple or client setting where ambiance and reliable seafood execution matter.

One of the best dinner experiences I’ve ever had in Italy. Beautiful food and service! Must try if you are near, I recommend the lobster linguine and seafood stew.
