Beautiful restaurant with a panoramic terrace and well-stocked.
The food was good, starting with the appetizers, beautifully presented and fresh. The fried fish, a classic among fish main courses, was really good and plentiful, not too greasy and crunchy, and truly excellent value. The only flaw was that while ordering, a waiter missed a dish, but considering the number of people there, it was no problem; obviously, we didn't pay for it. The restaurant is located on the Cecina promenade, and although the entrance is a little difficult to find because it's in the back, otherwise, I think it's the cheapest in the area.

It wasn't my first time. And I loved it again. The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the sea. The food is top-notch. An appetizer, two first courses, and a second course, all excellent. The wine list is also interesting. Prices are in line with the quality and craftsmanship of the ingredients. Definitely worth a try.

Cecina is full of places where you can stop for a bite to eat and/or a drink... An ice cream, a coffee... There are tons of them along the promenade...
Sottosopra is a little set back, but you eat on the terrace and enjoy a beautiful view...
We preferred the fish, but the sight of the pizza made me want to come back...
An appetizer and a first course, truly excellent and plentiful.
I'll definitely be back, both for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff.

Good food and a lovely location with a sea view. The problem is the portions. We ordered octopus as an appetizer, which cost €15, and they served us two (two!!!!!) tentacles. Now, octopus is expensive, but this is bordering on insane. The tuna tataki was five small pieces. We spent €90 for two (without wine), and I woke up so hungry I had to eat something else at home. I'd prefer a dish with less presentation but more substance. I wouldn't go back.
