I've only recently discovered this pizzeria, where the food is excellent. The pizzas are well-topped and crispy, and the fried foods are excellent and light. I especially recommend the fried cod fillet, which is gigantic! The staff is very friendly, although service can sometimes be a bit slow due to the crowds. It was a pleasant discovery!

We came here by chance and how lucky we were. All the food was amazing, from the starters they recomended us to the pizzas! And you cant leave without trying their homemade deserts. And best of all was the people working there. Thank you for evrything.

The pizzeria as I imagine it. Where it's become difficult to find a true Roman pizzeria (in Rome!!!!), at Borgatella you can breathe tradition: from the decor, to the tables, and the flavors. Thin, crunchy pizza, always cooked perfectly, and above all, artisanal fried foods, generously sized and with a flavor truly hard to find elsewhere. The comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere also provides a splendid backdrop. I've always been convinced that if the pizzeria were located in a more "high-profile" and busy area, it would be among the most famous in this part of the city.

18/02/2026: A unique place. I hope it stays that way for a long time. Here you can enjoy good food at reasonable prices for Rome. The food is made fresh by an elderly couple who have run this pizzeria for over 40 years. The owners speak little English, which only adds to the atmosphere of a place for insiders and a local gem. While we were there, quite a few people passed through, mostly locals. The interior has a period look. Definitely a place for those who want to avoid crowds of tourists, Instagram-worthy tables, and bills in the hundreds of euros, but still want to try authentic Italian cuisine :)

23/12/2025: This is a wine bar in a quiet, secluded neighborhood not far from Piazza Bologna. The atmosphere is relaxed, like an old-fashioned tavern. I've been there three times already: the soups, crostoni, and meatballs are excellent (I prefer the classic ones with tomato sauce). The desserts I tried were "average." An added bonus: the place is usually quite quiet, making for a pleasant conversation. There are only a few tables. The owner knows a thing or two about wine.
