The tavern is made by the innkeeper, and this is a very pleasant tavern! Compliments! He also responded to me on the rammed stump! ..... about viticulture!!!!!!!!. .....I also met Mrs. Domiziani there!! ...Italian excellence!

Eating and drinking well and simply, all taken care of by the chef and his wife. On our long journey through Veneto we found this tavern. I highly recommend it

Siamo venuti all'Osteria il Borghetto su consiglio del B&B dove alloggiavamo. Eravamo alla ricerca di un posto semplice, autentico e tradizionale. Le nostre aspettative sono state pienamente rispettate. L'osteria è un locale con non molti tavoli, piatti buonissimi, semplici ma preparati con estrema cura. Le carni a lunga cottura a bassa temperatura, e se poi vi piace il tartufo.... ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo ed il proprietario è un grande valore aggiunto. Ci si sente come a casa...

Maybe the best food we’ve eaten during our week in Tuscany / Umbria. You’ll be happy you came here. My wife and I came here today with our two kids. It’s a lovely, cozy place, and Maria and Luigi were very hospitable. (Thank you both!!) They even helped us pick out a wine to bring home as a gift. Easy 5 stars. Recommend.

We liked this place so much we ate here twice! Both times were for lunch so we only sampled the appetizers and pasta dishes but we loved the flavors and our conversation with the owner. We appreciated the intimate atmosphere and focused menu.

Locale piccolo e accogliente. Proprietario cortese, disponibile e accogliente. Stoviglie in ceramica decorata, tipica del luogo. Il cibo è ottimo: il tartufo cucinato sapientemente (sia con le uova che con la pasta). Ottima idea per un pranzo o una cena a Deruta, ma vale anche la pena fare una deviazione apposita.

The excellent local food, the rigorously handmade pasta, the friendliness, kindness and hospitality of the staff, distinguishes this typical restaurant which I certainly recommend. Excellent price (starter, first course, dessert, coffee and wine €30 per person)
