A mountain restaurant with a beautiful cellar. The dishes are tasty, made with fresh local products and genuine. The culatello, polenta and crepes are excellent. A quiet place to relax in this charming little village.

We entered this restaurant because it is one of the few open on a Wednesday evening in Sestola. The food is good and the dishes are very traditional. The environment was not very exciting as we had 30 people dining in just over 25 square meters and the quality of the dialogue with the diners was strongly affected. The staff was very friendly and quick. Very good price/quality ratio.

I have rarely eaten so well in a restaurant, I left really enthusiastic. The deer meat was EXTRAORDINARY, they nailed the cooking I requested perfectly. Compliments to the chef

Ristorante con vasta scelta di vini, l'ambiente non è molto grande e la scala per l'accesso al bagno è un po' ripida, detto questo, ottimo cibo, zuppa di cipolle alla francese veramente ottima, buona la polenta con porcini, ottimi i tortelli al tartufo.

Domenica 10/09 come fine della nostra vacanza abbiamo cenato alla Taverna . Locale accogliente pulito con una play-list di jazz che ha dato alla nostra cena un tocco romantico. Il menù è equilibrato fra qualità degli ingredienti,fantasia dello chef e prezzi. Cantina fornita. Noi abbiamo gustato: riso nero con radicchio e prosciutto,gnocchi di patate al ragù ( 2 ottimi primi ) seguiti da polenta ragù e formaggio ; spezzatino di vitello . Non sono mancati i dolci che sono una bontà: pana cotta con frutti di bosco, mousse di cioccolato e Charlotte di arancio e limone . Cena sopraffina in un locale gestito da giovani bravi e competenti. Bravi!!

25/12/2023: I had lunch at this farmhouse with my family, a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, great location not difficult to reach, incredible place, just a shame about the menu... too limited and not much choice. All in all Good.

05/04/2024: Splendid discovery, clean and well-ordered place with kind and welcoming owner, has ample parking, you can enjoy excellent fish and meat dishes. The first time we enjoyed an excellent cut of beef and we returned and this time we enjoyed excellent fish-based first courses and an exceptional fried seafood with grilled vegetables and chips. Excellent quality for the price. came back to taste the pizzas too and I can guarantee you that they are really good, well cooked and seasoned with quality ingredients. Try it to believe it
02/04/2024: Sober and elegant place, courteous and efficient staff with quick service even when the place is full, excellent quality of food, excellent fish, excellent pizza, expertly cooked traditional menu, I recommend everyone to try the patriarch, it's absolutely worth it, for the care and the great quality provided and constantly monitored by the owners. For me there is no grade beyond 10 on the report card, compliments to Mr Pino the owner and to all the table service staff.
