They welcomed us with a smile and great enthusiasm even though we had arrived after closing time: the owner Caterina, with her excellent staff, immediately made herself available, giving us excellent advice on the courses to take. Homemade cuisine, truly of high quality accompanied by his engaging friendliness! His Roman soul is certainly his strong point, he is one of those rare people who do this job above all with PLEASURE! 04/05/2024: A very pleasant surprise to discover this excellent Trattoria. Very high quality food, the meat particularly tasty and tender. The cutting board is highly recommended, with a very rich assortment of local products. Very welcoming location, excellent service: exceptional courtesy and kindness. Extraordinary value for money, I will definitely be back!

21/05/2024: Passing through Capalbio for the umpteenth time. Last time I didn't have the chance to dine at this restaurant. But now I've made up for it. Just as I expected. Warm and welcoming place, staff attentive to customer requests. The wine list is good, the dinner excellent, the dessert a little less so. Price is normal for those who want to have a dinner worthy of the name.

01/05/2024: Excellent restaurant near the center and car park of Capalbio. Excellent if you want to take advantage of Tuscan and Lazio cuisine, excellent preparations and excellent raw materials, we were truly amazed by the goodness of the dishes. Average prices for this type of restaurant.

19/05/2024: Decent, but not up to previous reviews, despite an interesting menu. Not all dishes were satisfactory. Burnt chicory, liquid tiramisu, the recipe for tagliolini with courgettes and bottarga was not right, ravioli were not exceptional. The gnudi with truffles were good, the rabbit in porchetta and the cod on chickpeas were interesting. Quick and attentive service, but perhaps an extra smile was needed. You can eat better in other nearby towns. Capalbio must get a move on, we can't live on our laurels, tourism is moving...

15/05/2024: Passing through the historic center we stopped at this restaurant from which a very inviting aroma of food came out. We ate there for lunch. Delicious white boar fettuccine, very good hunter-style wild boar. Side dishes and small pieces with vin santo. Everything's fine. The waitress was nice and friendly. We also bought oil. What can I say... Well done👏

14/05/2024: Excellent restaurant located near Capalbio. Large menu and good cellar. Abundant fish-based dishes masterfully prepared with top quality ingredients. Possibility to consume fresh fish from the area. The very kind staff ensures quick and precise table service. I cannot mention the prices because, as an "invited", I am not aware of them. I will definitely go back.

10/02/2024: Sempre alla ricerca di posti nuovi da provare per rimpiazzare i soliti noti, che col tempo si adagiano e rincarano, ho deciso di provare il Bar ristorante Le Burle. In un sabato piovoso, ci siamo fermati qui a pranzo. Il locale si trova a circa 1 km. dall'Aurelia, all'altezza del bivio per Capalbio; quindi, ideale per chi si dirige anche all'Argentario e vuole spezzare il viaggio . Borgo Carige finora per me era sinonimo della Bisteccata, la sagra che si tiene ogni anno a luglio. E invece oggi abbiamo trovato un nuovo posto che aggiungeremo ai preferiti. I gestori e il personale sono sorridenti e gentili. Il locale si presenza come un bar/ristoro, ma sul retro ha una veranda e al primo piano una sala confortevole con luci soffuse. Oggi faceva un po' freddo per stare in veranda (con pareti in plastica trasparente e quindi molto permeabile al clima esterno) e quindi ci hanno sistemato sopra. Poco dopo sono arrivate i cracker senza glutine (il cameriere aveva ricordato che ero celiaco, come da me comunicato al momento della prenotazione, di persona. Il sauté di cozze era molto buono. Le cozze fresche e molto saporite, così come il sughetto. La cameriera ha passato correttamente al cuoco la nostra richiesta di aggiungere un po' di peperoncino alle cozze e siamo stati esauditi. Ottimi gli spaghetti con i lupini e la bottarga grattugiata a scaglie. Ottimi anche gli spaghetti senza glutine col sugo di moscardini "pennini" al pomodoro. Gustosissimi, saporitissimi e anch'essi piccanti su espressa richiesta fatta allo Chef.ì (la c maiuscola non è un caso). La pasta è arrivata a tavola molto calda, segno di attenzione e di coordinazione tra cucina e sala. Le porzioni erano abbondonanti. Penso oltre 120 grammi di pasta per ciascuno, condite in maniera proporzionale. I piatti non sono prezzati da bar, ma adeguatamente alla loro qualità e alla quantità. Comunque non cari, tenuto conto appunto delle dosi (se non ricordo male intorno ai 16 euro ciascuno, i nostri primi). In tre, abbiamo faticato a finire due porzioni di sauté e tre primi. Una discreta lista dei vini, che include proposte locali con giusti ricarichi. Noi abbiamo preso un Ansonica (uva molto diffusa nella zona, dal sapore aromatico e leggermente amaro) dell'azienda agricola Il Cerchio, che già conoscevo per essere un vino (semi) naturale (difatti sulla lista è definito correttamente "Bio"). Hanno anche un Ansonica invecchiato in anfore ("à la" Gravner, che ha introdotto il metodo), ma non ho voluto farlo provare ai commensali temendo fosse troppo estremo. Abbiamo ringraziato il cuoco, Danilo, sia quando è salito in sala che quando siamo scesi. E' molto bravo. Spero che la squadra rimanga così e non si lasci andare, soprattutto durante la stagione estiva, quando è più difficile garantire un adeguato livello qualitativo. Bravi, grazie; torneremo!

Excellent food: starters, first courses, meat, side dishes and desserts of the best quality and tradition. However, what really makes the difference is the friendly, welcoming and attentive service. 22/05/2024: We found ourselves by chance, even though it was a little late they sat us down and served us. My youngest son was throwing a tantrum because he didn't want to eat pasta, the restaurateur prepared us some express potatoes especially for him. In addition to the great friendliness (my eldest 13-year-old son and the restaurateur also started talking about football), the pici were excellent and the sautéed chicory was delicious. Good food must be paid for fairly, the dishes are worth the expense. Advised

16/10/2023: Piccolo e molto carino. Servizio amichevole e veloce. Piatti di affettati e formaggi, bruschette (non è un ristorante) tutto rigorosamente toscano e tutto rigorosamente buono. Valido il vino sfuso, ma ci sono anche decine di etichette locali.Molto consigliato se non avete tempo/voglia di passare ore in ristorante,consigliato per assaggiare i prodotti tipici della zona.....insomma consigliato

25/09/2023: Nel piccolo centro storico, a lato della Chiesa di San Nicola. Sistemazione pittoresca, sulla strada appena in salita, con panche e tavoli addossati alla parete del locale. Fanno bruschette e panini (visti quelli presi da altri turisti sembravano veramente invitanti). Noi abbiamo preso due taglieri piccoli di salumi e formaggi. Li chiamano piccoli, ma hanno dimensioni e qualità dei taglieri grandi che si trovano normalmente in altri esercizi. Nel caso a qualcuno interessi anche l'aspetto economico: costano circa la metà. E' un piccolo locale che offre molti prodotti tipici. Il personale è cordiale ed educato; spesso viene direttamente il titolare anche a scambiare due chiacchiere. A pochi passi dalla porta di ingresso del borgo. Consigliato!
