We were welcomed by 3 charming professional waitresses who accompanied us throughout the meal with kindness and attention. Regarding the meal, the chef's cuisine is inventive and tasty. Very kind, hospitable and welcoming staff: all magnificent. Exceptional cuisine: from breakfast to dinner. The location is amazing for reaching the major cities in the eastern area of ​​Sicily. It offers great services and makes your stay unforgettable.

Da subito sono rimasto affascinato oltre che dalla bellezza, pulizia ed ordine delle sale soprattutto dalla professionalità, cordialità e disponibilità del maitre sig. Pappalardo che ha curato tutto nei minimi particolari non lasciando nulla al caso. Grazie al maitre ho scelto un menu molto raffinato e con portate di altissima qualità. Anche il personale di servizio e' stato molto educato e professionale. Proprietari particolarmente cordiali e disponibili. Casa Modò ha reso possibile ogni mio desiderio rendendo il mio cinquantesimo compleanno un giorno veramente speciale. Grazie di cuore

I was immediately fascinated not only by the beauty, cleanliness and order of the rooms but also by the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the maitre d'. Pappalardo who took care of everything down to the smallest detail, leaving nothing to chance. Thanks to the maitre d' I chose a very refined menu with very high quality dishes. The service staff was also very polite and professional. Owners particularly friendly and helpful. Casa Modò made my every wish possible, making my fiftieth birthday a truly special day. Lo Chef Raciti ci ha deliziato con un menù degustazione di 8 portate, composto da storici cavalli di battaglia e piatti più recenti, tutto accomunato da eleganze e sapore davvero eccellenti. Una cena impeccabile che spero di ripetere a breve. Menzione speciale per l'uovo e per il tortello, personalmente MERAVIGLIOSI. 01/05/2024: The clerk at the counter was very grumpy and unprofessional. I'm sorry but the service is paid and we don't pretend to want things for free. The lady did not give information on the ingredients. This is unprofessional behavior. We asked if there were trays to take out, she said no and then after a minute 3 different first courses came out.

The boss, whose mistake it was, apparently didn't care. One more or less customer is probably not important. There wasn't even an apology from him.

03/03/2024: Ottima cantina, ma no, ora si dice vineria...ed in effetti c'è tutto il vino del mondo, potete soddisfare tutti i vostri desideri. La cosa che comunque mi ha più colpito è la qualità dei prodotti, soprattutto le cantine locali, ci sono tutte, e poi Massimiliano il proprietario ci ha aiutato e spiegato tutte le differenze e sfumature dei vini che abbiamo assaggiato. Insomma un luogo dove conoscere e assaporare i vini dell'Etna e non solo. Sicuramente torneremo.

However, the thing that struck me most was the quality of the products, especially the local wineries, they are all there, and then Massimiliano the owner helped us and explained all the differences and nuances of the wines we tasted. In short, a place where you can get to know and taste the wines of Etna and beyond. We will definitely be back.

26/05/2024: I very rarely write reviews but in this case I think it is right to share my experience. I will limit myself to describing the events without adding personal opinions; readers will draw their own considerations. Event: My son's first communion. Owner very helpful when booking and managing the menu and tables, which happened in the previous days. The day of lunch arrives, we all show up on time and after the photos with the cake outside (very nice) we sit at the table at 1.20pm telling the waiters that we were all ready. The starters arrive at 2.00pm, that is, 40 minutes later and after my first reminder (imagine the delirium of the children sitting at the table). We consume all the appetizers in about 20 minutes. For the first courses (two served on the same plate) we wait another 40 minutes, that is, we eat the pasta at 3:00 pm. The second courses arrived after an hour...at 4pm.. children and adults now seated at the table only out of respect for myself. It is unthinkable to offer a child a cutlet with potatoes at 4pm. We move on to the sorbet after 45 minutes at 4.50pm, it's a shame that they only bring some for half of the guests, for the other half after 15 minutes of waiting I'm forced to get up from the table again to politely complain to the person at the checkout, who almost annoyed he tells me.... they are coming!!! By now the clock showed 5.30pm when they bring the cake. Finally, exhausted and sorry for my guests and for my son, with four digestions in progress, I go to the cash register to pay, without saying anything (I understand that it would have been a waste of breath). The owner does the mathematical calculation and in the end tells me: the bill is xxx (important figure) but if you pay in cash I'll give you a discount of one euro......what can I say....I made a terrible impression with the my guests but above all with my son.
