30/08/2024: Don’t bother - this place is a mid range restaurant pretending to be fine dining and with terrible service. Maybe they only want their customers to dress and look a certain way but the waiters didn’t even bother to look our way which doesn’t really make sense considering how affordable the restaurant is… After waiting 10 minutes, we had to ask for a menu and after this we waited another 20 minutes to try and order - we asked one waiter who wasn’t looking after our table and he told us to wait for our server while he proceeded to stand around on his phone and chat to the other servers, all while our server avoided looking our direction and swept crumbs off nearby tables. Needless to say we walked out and will never be back!

28/08/2024: waiters perhaps a little inexperienced. I think it deserves the 5 stars because I ate well even though I paid a lot but I think it was worth it. I tried many good typical dishes

12/08/2024: Antonio welcomed us as if he had always known us. The dishes border on perfection, the high quality ingredients as well as the presentation make it an obligatory stop for anyone passing through the area. The Chef's love in the kitchen is the binder of this treasure chest. Thanks for everything. Ciro&Sabrina

11/08/2024: Colorful place with refined and very abundant offerings, including fish, which are truly excellent. Excellent quality raw materials. House wine, a white from nero d'avola grapes, very good. Lovely staff, including the sweet dog Bella. Normal prices for the quantity you eat (i.e. neither absurdly low nor absurdly high). Highly recommended!

16/07/2024: If you are looking to drink a cocktail with a breathtaking view of the Sicilian panorama, this is the place! The staff there are very welcoming and kind; the service is impeccable! I'm sad that I wasn't able to go there a second time. I highly recommend !

23/07/2024: Exceptional pastry shop, not only for the desserts but also for the kindness of the shop assistants who advised me on what to get and what to give as gifts. We will definitely be back next year. I would even give it more than 5 stars.

18/08/2024: Appena finito di mangiare in questa focacceria non posso esimermi dal lasciare una recensione. In 13 ci siamo fermati ed abbiamo mangiato di tutto, davvero non saprei decidere cosa fosse meglio, tutto preparato e cucinato al momento. l'arancino rosso non si può non prendere, da provare anche quello al pustacchio. Il proprietario ed il resto del personale sono stati gentilissimi. Consigliatissimo!

13/08/2024: Il biglietto da visita di questo ristorante sicuramente è la location incantevole, immersa nel verde offrendo agli ospiti una ineguagliabile accoglienza e serenità. Le stesse qualità sembrano emergere anche sul personale dal quale io e la mia amica siamo state accolte ed accompagnate al nostro tavolo. Questo ristorante ha tutte le carte in tavola per diventare uno dei migliori locali di Agrigento, ma ci sono alcuni aspetti da non trascurare e sui quali lavorare. Non discuto sulla qualità del cibo, bensì su come è stato servito perché è inammissibile a priori, che il secondo di carne ordinato dalla mia amica, arrivi freddo e tutti sappiamo che la carne fredda perde molto. Nel momento in cui arriva la cameriera, chiedendoci se fosse tutto a posto, ho lamentato questo inconveniente, dicendo che avrebbe riportato a chi di dovere, ma arrivate alla cassa, davanti la titolare, da cui ci aspettavamo di ricevere quantomeno dei chiarimenti in merito, ha fatto orecchie da mercante o magari non le è stato riferito proprio nulla. Forse, sono partita con aspettative troppo alte, ma il servizio per essere impeccabile non deve includere solo l’accoglienza e il servire con eleganza l’acqua a tavola, ma deve prendersi anche carico delle critiche qualora il cliente fa notare il suo disappunto e rimediare sulle mancanze se si vuole che i clienti ritornino, ma a quanto pare non sono interessati a questo, ma a lavorare con clienti di passaggio.

21/07/2024: A family meal, with tasty, local and typical cuisine. The boss takes great care and little touches that are much appreciated. Olive oil to taste as a digestive and the boss's fines to finish the meal. Good value for money

08/08/2024: Caltabellotta è un paese in cima a un monte alle spalle di Sciacca, a quasi mille metri sul livello del mare. La ripida salita a tornanti vale però la pena, perché il paese è molto piacevole e la vista dalla terrazza del ristorante mozzafiato. Il cibo è ottimo, con materie prime d’eccellenza e un servizio rapido e cortese. Le paste fantastiche, il gambero rosso di Mazaro abbondante e ben condito, la carne di prima scelta; anche i dolci si sono fatti apprezzare!

17/08/2024: Recommended by other people, intrigued, we went without any expectations. It is precisely when you don't expect it that you find great surprises: excellent quality food, very attentive, friendly and nice staff, a well-kept, tidy, clean structure and with that rustic design characteristic of typical meat-based dishes! We ate a meat tartare with caramelized onion following another order that we had made with avocado but which, due to the attention and care of the staff, advised against the avocado which was still unripe and which could not have guaranteed the goodness of the dish: this diverted us into the tartare mentioned above and, listen, it was truly amazing!! We also took the black bull platter, which was also really good and, finally, a cut of meat that they recommended to us and this was also really excellent, of high quality and cooked to the point we liked! Finally, we didn't have room for dessert but it certainly would have been good. The staff almost seemed sorry that we didn't want to eat anything else, so much so that they offered us a digestive and stopped to chat pleasantly with us! We promised that we would return in the following evenings (especially to taste the other tartares and specialties) but an unexpected travel situation prevented us from doing so. What is certain is that as soon as we set foot in Comitini again, the first stop will be with them!!! Congratulations indeed!!!

15/08/2024: L'ansia, gli ultimi dettagli,l'arrivo in chiesa,e poi... Il ricevimento qui al Parco Chiaramontano. A partire dall’organizzazione, alla professionalità dello staff, al cibo, tutto perfetto oltre ogni immaginazione! Location molto curata in ogni aspetto, ampi spazi per accogliere gli ospiti e il tutto circondato dalla natura più pura e incontaminata. Per non parlare del menù, apprezzato da tutti sia per qualità e quantità e prestando grande cura e attenzione per le persone con allergie e intolleranze. Ci siamo divertiti tanto e, ad oggi, ogni volta che ripensiamo a quel giorno ci emozioniamo tantissimo. Avremo per sempre un ricordo indelebile del nostro matrimonio. Avete reso il giorno più bello della nostra vita fantastico, ci avete fatto vivere un sogno! Ringraziamo soprattutto Innocenzo che si è rivelato sin dal primo incontro una persona molto capace, esperto e attento a soddisfare il più possibile tutte le nostre richieste e a darci preziosi consigli, lo ricorderemo per sempre con molto affetto. 02/08/2024: What an amazing place! We had a little problem on arrival but it was sorted very quickly, the staff were brilliant and very helpful. Loads to do for kids of all ages and also for adults. I would highly recommend Verdura for a holiday.
