05/09/2023: This is a very small local gem. If you are lucky enough to visit Castro, make sure to stop by and enjoy the fantastic home cooked food. We tried the parmigiana (the real one, without the Mozzarella but with Parmesan) and it was the most delicious one we ever had. The owners are lovely and create this amazing, typical food at incredible prices.
Make sure to try the Parmigiana, the Lasagne or the Polpette al Pomodoro. There are vegetarian and vegan choices.
We will be back for sure!
Be aware that the shop is open from April to mid-September.

03/04/2024: It was a pleasant discovery. I had a fish-based lunch. The quality is high, like a starred restaurant, with fresh fish cooked in a masterly manner. We were 14 people and the service was exceptional and impeccable. The wine list is excellent with two spectacular rosés
15/03/2024: There were 4 of us for lunch... We ordered a series of appetizers which satisfied us, then we asked for 4 spaghetti with seafood, we were brought a sticky spaghetti that was certainly pre-cooked, 10 volgole, 3 very cold prawns not mixed with the sauce resting on spaghetti and 1 scampi.....they were a disappointment..... I don't know what kind of chef there is in the kitchen!!!!! I went to pay the bill, pointing out that the spaghetti was very bad.... The owner gave a discount of 24 euros on the total of 194 euros. I would have preferred to pay for everything but not make that impression with some Calabrian friends who were my guests.
I won't go back.

27/05/2024: The count's cave is one of my favorite restaurants, I have been going there since I was a child, I have been there on various important occasions, the place is wonderful, you can smell the sea, the same view, professional and kind staff, excellent food I recommend it especially for an important event because it is a classy restaurant.

07/05/2024: I came on a trip with the school and we stopped here to have lunch without entering the restaurant, the owner said I could stay in the gazebo and so we sat there, the waiters came to give us tablecloths, I really appreciate this gesture reason why I gave it 5 stars. Equally good food.
01/05/2024: I give 1 star because I can't give 0.
We arrived at the restaurant at the reservation time and after 1 hour we were able to order. The staff was not sufficient for the number of tables to be served
At 4pm the starters still hadn't arrived and we decided to leave.

16/03/2024: Posto easy e naked, ottimo per un pranzo veloce in un location incantevole,
si paga il giusto in base alla qualità e la quantità di quello che si ordina, ma nient'altro tavolini in strada giusto con un po' di moquette verde a terra, non tutti i tavolini godono del fresco degli ombrelloni.
Simpatici i ragazzi che gestiscono.
Se badate alla sostanza fermatevi in tutta tranquillità
04/01/2024: State alla larga, frittura unta e non croccante, ciliegina sulla torta si paga il coperto anche se i commensali non consumano. Il cameriere ha fatto spallucce. Alla larga!!!!

01/11/2023: Wonderful place, a nice week's holiday, we had a good time in this property, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money and especially when the owner greets you with a hug upon departure, this says it all. Thanks see you next time!
18/09/2023: I stayed with my husband from 27 August to 3 September 2023 booked with G.B. Trips. Terrible experience! We were guaranteed: room with sea view, soft entertainment, club card, safe in the room, but all this was not there. Room reachable after 100 steps with a "wall" view, poor quality and not very varied food, non-existent entertainment, broken deckchairs and no umbrella. Obviously without a lifeguard! The only positive note beyond the splendid location was the cleanliness of the rooms and the kindness of the staff upon our arrival who then turned out to be very rude during our stay, especially when I asked to replace a dish. I was told in front of all the guests that it was a favor and that it should never happen again!! All this out loud. I will never set foot in this hotel again nor will I recommend it!!

The staff is very nice and the food is delicious.
If you want fresh and sophisticated seafood, go for it!
28/05/2024: With my sister, we saw the restaurant while walking around, it was good food and with very good products. The staff was very attentive and available. For the atmosphere, the exterior courtyard is superb with lots of vegetation and light, a real pleasure. If you like seafood, go for it :)

29/10/2023: A small bar located on a very pretty square with a beautiful terrace and a little further away but still visible, a superb view.
Friendly and fast service.
A few choices for snacking or sharing, like tapas, a nice friendly dinner/aperitif.
And the space next to it allows children to run around safely.
All in a very friendly atmosphere.

Der Service vom Personal war herausragend. Zuallererst liegt das Hotel wunderschön direkt am Meer. Wir konnten vom Zimmer auf das Meer schauen. Frühstücken & Abendessen mit Meerblick. Der Pool im edlen Retro Stil auch mit Blick auf das Meer, traumhaft! La dolce Vita : ) . Das Essen war hervorragend : ) . Dort haben wir das beste Tiramisu und Eis unseres Lebens gegessen. Das künstlerische Wohnzimmer mit Bar für alle war mit das Herz der Hotels. Die Zimmer könnten ein Touch up bekommen und moderner eingerichtet sein. Preis/Leistung waren gut. Wir kommen wieder. Wir kommen wieder !
31/10/2023: Such a shame that awful management and upkeep spoiled what could be a lovely hotel. We checked out early because of all the problems we had and were told we would get a refund. Since then the manager has refused to process a refund and refuses to respond to messages. I have never felt so ripped off by a hotel This is in NO way a 4 star hotel, the facilities and condition are barely 3 stars. We booked for a week in September to find that our room, a bungalow suite, was shabby, dirty and in need of repair. There was no wifi at all at the room and no mobile reception, we had to ask especially for a coffee machine which seemed to be a problem. The shower didn't work! What was worse was the staff and management. Staff were having audible arguments over breakfast service, we were made to feel like a nuisance for asking for foods which had run out. Cleaning staff just left bags of dirty laundry from other rooms on our porch. A change of management and a refurb is seriously needed!!

02/05/2024: I went to eat in this bar because I was in Castro, obviously a beautiful location, the food was good but the wait was really too long, considering that there weren't many people, waiting over half an hour / three quarters of an hour for two sandwiches and not even receiving the drinks first unless after reminding the waiter seems excessive to me, I repeat the food was good, the place was clean both inside and out, but the wait was a bit too long, prices were normal for what you got we ordered right.
23/03/2024: Great little cafe with basic but very tasty apperitivo and views over water are the best view on the square.
