19/11/2025: As part of our travel around Italy we decided we had to try Pepe's pizza and were not disappointed. The dough was light and fluffy with a crispy exterior. The fried pizzas were not greasy and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Try the Vesuvio apricot fried dessert pizza and of course not to be missed is the Margharita Spagliata pizza with it's delicious ricco tomato puree. As it happened we stayed nearby at La Sbecciatrice apartment in Villa Santa Croce owned by the farmer that produces the ricco tomato puree used at Pepe e Grani. All in all it was a great experience that we hope to repeat.

29/11/2025: I'll start with the service: This is our third time here and it's always excellent, it deserves more than five stars. Everyone is very attentive and efficient. This time, even Mrs. Natascia looked after us very well—well done! Regarding the pizzas (I'm Neapolitan and I think I understand a little), we found them all excellent. We ordered four and shared them all—they were delicious, excellent dough, perfect toppings, varied, and tasty. The pizza chefs are skilled and imaginative. The price is fair for the quality and service. I recommend it and will be back often. Compliments to the management.

09/11/2025: The wait was too long and we paid for ten instead of eight... well, maybe it was the Saturday night crowd... the pizza was average... a little too chewy for my taste... but that's subjective.

03/11/2025: A lovely place to spend an evening with friends and children. The gluten-free options make it a worthwhile option, given my son's celiac disease. Also, even on a Saturday, the service is quite fast. I forgot to mention that there's a lovely children's play area.

03/11/2025: Everything was very good, but the atmosphere was quite noisy. Perhaps because it was Halloween night, when it was particularly popular with party-goers (and rightfully so). There's also a children's play area inside, which adds to the hustle and bustle. Perfect for families, but less so for couples.

13/09/2025: Unfortunately, we went for pizza, but they haven't made it for two years, so the information here on Maps is from a while ago. They don't make pizza at Appia Antica, but they have a big heart and know how to treat their customers. Even though we sat down and got a bottle of water, and even though we got up and left when we learned there were no pizzas, the owners' kindness and helpfulness never wavered, always with a smile, courtesy, and professionalism. Oh, and they even offered us a bottle of water. We'll definitely return for the restaurant, which, even though we can't review the food, has that something extra that makes all the difference... HEART AND HUMANITY

The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. We tried several different dishes and each one was impressive. Prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered.
