02/09/2025: Elio, the owner and chef, serves exquisite traditional Italian food in a no-frills setting. The ambiance is homely, and the service is warm and welcoming. It’s the closest you’ll get to having lunch at a nonno’s house. The one thing this place is missing is a Michelin Star.

02/09/2025: Buonissimo!! We enjoyed Sicilian specialties with the antipasto platter to share between two. Simply delicious and very generous! The welcome and service were equally impeccable. As for the setting, we had lunch in the small courtyard, which was very pleasant. A must-see after or before your visit to the Villa Romana del Casale.

I proposed to my girlfriend during this time, and the entire team did everything before and during our arrival to make this day and our stay extra special. Many thanks again to the entire team. This historic hotel is in an idyllic and peaceful location, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was particularly varied, and the dinner was excellent. We would love to come back. The menu features the freshest, seasonal ingredients, dishes with bold flavors and dishes with fresh, light flavors, and the common thread is the highest quality of the products. 14/09/2025: A peaceful haven in the city of Modica, in a charming courtyard surrounded by trees and fairy lights, Armando, with his kindness and professionalism, will lead you on a delightful experience. Exquisite food, a plant-based reinterpretation of Sicilian cuisine, but also unique and unusual dishes with original and perfect flavor combinations. The plant-based cheeses, and especially the cannoli with almond ricotta, are worth the experience alone. Highly recommended ♥️

08/09/2025: Singola is a real gem! Tucked away behind a car street, you get to sit in a peaceful, nicely decorated garden. The food was really amazing. Italian with a twist, full of surprising tatses. I would definitely recommend coming here!

30/07/2025: They have a very nice terrace where you can sit and have dinner with a nice atmosphere. We tried “pasta a la Sarde”, typical of Sicily and also the typical dessert “cassata”. A quiet place with good food.

26/07/2025: Very warm and welcoming place inside and outside you are very comfortable, professional staff. Excellent quality food, the taste of the fish was very present, as it is fresh, even with slightly elaborate dishes, in fact I would like to recommend the preparation of some fish-based dishes in a traditional way, therefore simple such as grilled swordfish so you can fully enjoy the flavor of the same. Overall, a round of applause to all the staff.

21/08/2025: We visited Rinuccio a Milo and it was a wonderful experience. We ate traditional Sicilian dishes with a refined twist, all delicious and with attention to detail. The staff and chef were extremely kind and efficient, making us feel welcomed and pampered. The restaurant is located in a truly enchanting location, surrounded by nature and with a marvelous view of Mount Etna. A place that combines excellent food, friendliness, and the beauty of the landscape. Highly recommended!

19/08/2025: Ristorante Da Rinuccio is a renowned osteria located in Milo, on the slopes of Mount Etna, on Via Mareneve. It is renowned for its authentic Sicilian cuisine and welcoming atmosphere surrounded by greenery. Traditional Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes are served, with a focus on local ingredients. Specialties include: Trofie with pistachio cream and crispy bacon, and Macaroni with Nebrodi pork ragù and fennel. Second courses include slow-cooked pork shank and sliced cubed roll with mixed salad. The excellent ingredients used and the friendly, attentive staff are impressive. Also recommended for its location, the lush greenery surrounding the rustic restaurant, and the view of Mount Etna.

22/08/2025: It's always a wonderful experience to dine at this lovely osteria. The food is fantastic, prepared with excellent ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner is courteous and very friendly. If you're passing through Castelbuono, stopping for dinner is a must.

The people at the restaurant were very friendly from start to finish and were able to find us a table even though the restaurant was full for the evening. The food is excellent and fresh. We loved our dinner and our experience at Cartari Locanda.

The swordfish was ok. And the potato and leek piure was a little bit disappointing. It wasn’t bad, but the texture was something else from what we thought it will be. So 3.8-4/5, but I would definitely come back to try some kore visionary food! The service was spotless, thank you very much! Easy 5/5. Atmosphere: well, we had a bunch of people there..smoking and having a pretty loud talk, but this was not the restaurant’s fault, the restaurant looked pretty. 5/5. Thank you!

24/08/2025: Back to the Past Pasticceria, a family-run restaurant with a local feel. Historic since 1945, with classic steps and marble, it's a tearoom style. All the pastries, the brioche, the gelato, the cannoli, the baba rum, are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. They gave us some mandorla/marzipan pastry and orange cookies, which are famous, a delight. We wish we'd bought more. ❤️
