29/04/2025: My son and his wife chose Villa Battistini for their wedding celebration. A fabulous decision. It's a beautiful building, impeccably maintained just like its grounds, in a stunning countryside location. Those things don't make a wedding party special though. It's the people who cooked and served the quality and quantity of food at Villa Battistini that made it an incredibly special day. Amazing array of antipasti choices (that could easily have been a full meal in itself for all 65 of us), followed by two pasta dishes I would say are the best I ever had, then a main of perfectly cooked rolled sea bass in a herb crust. The light as a feather and delicious wedding cake would alone have been a fitting end to a splendid meal, but the dessert buffet served alongside was not just a thing of beauty, like the antipasti it covered every kind you might imagine, each of which was a delight to eat. All this was delivered with the efficiency you'd expect from such a pristine venue, but also with warmth and care from every person who works there. Luckily we haven't left Italy to return home yet. If there's a day they don't have a wedding before we go, we will make sure we return for a restaurant meal. Utterly perfect in every way.

03/06/2025: Posto sicuramente bello, personale simpatico e qualificato, atmosfera tranquilla, ma per la nostra esperienza direi che dopo averci consigliato questo ristorante per la carne, siamo rimasti un pò delusi, siamo abituati a ristoranti di alto livello per la qualità, ma ci aspettavamo un po' di più da questo posto, dove ho visto recensioni ottime, carbonara buona ma troppo saporita, antipasti buoni, insomma per le aspettative un po' deludente.

03/06/2025: Business lunch with a colleague. Restaurant half empty, we waited 75 minutes for a carbonara and a tagliolini with truffle. It speaks for itself. No justification from the waiting staff or even at the cashier.

13/04/2025: I give 5 stars because you can't give more. As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed, both us and our dog, who was offered some homemade dog biscuits! That is, they practically make dog biscuits, this thing has already made us fall in love. Between the super wine list and selections of cured meats and cheeses it was a real food and wine journey, both the place and the food are proof of how much competence, love and passion there is in their work, definitely our new favorite place! Thanks for the wonderful evening, we returned home full of stomach and heart!

28/05/2025: Restaurant found by chance, my partner and I were truly surprised by the beauty of the place, breathtaking views, the very elegant restaurant, very kind and professional staff and then the food, wow !!!!!! A genuineness that has become very rare today, all zero km products, divinely cooked. Excellent portions, correct price. The restaurant is located at the end of the road on the left, it has very convenient internal parking. It's a shame I can only give 5 stars, it deserves much more!

19/06/2025: Exceptional, I stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch break. Large menu with excellent quality products. The zuppa inglese was truly excellent quality. I hope to return more calmly during a weekend to try other dishes

16/06/2025: An experience to forget, you can't let customers eat at 40 degrees and above, it felt like being inside a sauna, I risked feeling ill, I had to interrupt lunch, Sunday ruined! P.S. also at the time of payment I found the person who was at the cash register rude and impolite, take a nice bath of a bath of humility that never hurts Thanks for the ruined Sunday

13/06/2025: One of rhe best views from the restaurant. We made it to the beautiful sunset. The lady serving us was amazing. She had the biggest friendliest smile and helped explain the menu in English. Food was delicious 😋. Definitely recommend 👌

20/05/2025: Ho aspettato due giorni prima di scrivere questa recensione, per non lasciarmi condizionare dalle emozioni del momento. Ma andiamo con ordine. Ho prenotato in questo ristorante fuori porta tramite The Fork, senza conoscere Fara in Sabina. Il paese si è rivelato una bellissima scoperta: molto carino, invita a passeggiare e godersi l’atmosfera. Il ristorante è delizioso, curato e con un tocco davvero particolare. Il servizio è stato complessivamente buono: qualcosa è sfuggito, ma può succedere. I piatti sono particolari e ben presentati, con ingredienti di qualità che si percepiscono chiaramente. In alcuni casi forse un po’ troppo speziati, come ho letto anche in altre recensioni, ma nel complesso direi tra il buono e l’ottimo (questioni di gusto, ovviamente). Quando ho chiesto il conto, mi è stato chiesto di recarmi direttamente in cassa, dove mi è stato subito emesso lo scontrino, senza che mi venisse mostrato o riepilogato prima. In quel momento avrei potuto far presente che avevo prenotato con uno sconto tramite The Fork, ma non ci ho pensato, perché nelle esperienze precedenti lo sconto era sempre stato applicato automaticamente. È a questo punto che, purtroppo, succede qualcosa che rovina completamente l’esperienza. La persona alla cassa — forse lo chef, ma non ne sono certo — reagisce in modo del tutto fuori luogo. Evito di riportare le parole esatte, ma sono state offensive e inappropriate, tanto che mia figlia di sei anni, presente con noi, ha commentato: “Ma non si dicono queste cose davanti ai bambini.” E aveva ragione. Alla fine una collega ha gestito la situazione con gentilezza e professionalità, e la ringrazio per questo. Ma il danno ormai era fatto. Sono molto dispiaciuto. Fino a quel momento l’esperienza era stata piacevole e mi sarebbe davvero piaciuto tornare. Ma dopo un episodio del genere, purtroppo, mai più. Nonostante tutto, ho cercato di assegnare un voto complessivo che tenesse conto anche degli aspetti positivi.
