26/11/2023: In una cascina lungo il lido di Noto il posto è veramente ricco di charme Gli interni sono molto curati e il cortile è bellissimo La cucina di alto livello e gli ingredienti utilizzati tutti di prima qualità a cominciare dal pane e dall’olio che non smetteresti di mangiare Noi abbiamo assaggiato il polpo la polpetta di triglia su insalata di finocchi e arance le busiate con sugo di calamari e come dolci il sorbetto di mandorle e pistacchi e il gelato alla crema (entrambi home made) Ottima scelta di vini

12/05/2024: Ravioli good, pizza decent, veal with artichoke sauce was god awful. Crème Catalan good. No English menu, neither ability to have it explained or speak in English generally. Service weird (beer in wineglasses, pizza came last) and slowish. Some of them were very friendly though. Could’ve been great with a little effort imo. And remove that veal from the menu!

25/04/2024: Place to avoid. The quality of everything my family and I ate in this restaurant, except the desserts, was absolutely mediocre. The experience wasn't worth the (expensive) expense. The staff was friendly and polite throughout the service. The environment is very chaotic, probably because it is not adequately soundproofed. It's hard to hear what the person in front of you is saying.

18/05/2024: Today, May 18th, I ate in this really nice little place. Bruschetta with caramelized onions and bruschetta with caponata, vegetarian couscous. EXCELLENT everything, from the value for money to the courtesy of the owner Francesco who welcomed us friendly and gave us a few songs on his guitar. I really recommend it. 😊💕

01/04/2024: Typical Sicilian cuisine, good food, good quality/price. A piece of advice to give, as there are many rooms, reserve one only for tables of up to 4 to avoid excessive confusion of large tables.

24/05/2024: Our 6th city on our Italy-Sicily trip and this place stole our hearts. We never repeat, but broke the rule before writing this. The food is a mind bending combinaion of French and local cuisine, almost indescribable. The owners and staff became family on the second visit. The was not one dish that did not make us pause, but the pork shank was other worldly.

19/05/2024: We had lunch here today and it was the best meal and service ever we have had in Sicily. Every staff member was exceptional and the tuna lasagne was absolutely delicious. Topped off with Crème Brûlée and Limoncello our experience was 100%

06/04/2024: I enjoyed a high quality lunch today, thankfully we sat at a perfect little table outside in the shade. We started with the vegetable platter, which was an exciting array of lightly seasoned cooked vegetables we had just seen at the local market. It is hard to find nice fresh vegetables at restaurants in Sicily, this really served them all up. We also each had a pasta. I had the tagliolini with mussels, my husband had the ravioli with tomato and basil. Both were really fresh tasting, the mussels especially nice. Service was quick, friendly and courteous. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

06/04/2024: Friendly service. Unfortunately it is not good value for money. Expensive for what it is. Positioning a little too touristy perhaps. The first clue is the caponata which is not at the level of what you can taste a few streets further.

11/05/2024: Super recommended stop at the end of the market, great to have a drink and taste high quality products. The waiters are very friendly and the atmosphere is great.

05/05/2024: Very nice home Impeccable service Hearty and good quality breakfast Completely review the soundproofing; hearing the neighbor pee, flushing the toilet…. It's just impossible for this type of hotel and ask the staff to be more discreet in the corridors. They don't speak they scream And for rooms that do not have shutters, the street lamps are on all night, it is not possible either given the standard of the hotel.

31/03/2024: I booked a table on Easter Sunday on thefork, and after 2 hours on the road we discovered that the place was closed and furthermore when we called the number no one answered. I strongly advise against booking here, terrible and disappointing experience.

14/05/2024: Closed Thursdays. Dinner on Tuesday 14 May 2024 Busy outside and pretty busy inside so we were glad to have made reservations. One bottle of water, one litre of average red wine at €12 (next time stick with the wonderful white wine!), one Verdure Grigliate at €5, one Caponata at €9, one Pesce Spada alla Marinara (swordfish) at €15, one Spigola alla Grigliate (sea bass) at €15 cost €62. Really good value for money. If you have doubts, then look around at all the Italians dining at this restaurant. Lunch on Tuesday 14 May 2024 Open from 12.45 to 14.45 so we managed to get an outside table after travelling from Catania Airport!2 One bottle of water, one litre of excellent white wine at €12, one Insalata Verde at €4, one Insalata di Arance at €4, one Pesce Spada alla Griglia (swordfish) at €15 and one Bigoli alle Sarde (thick spaghetti with sardines) at €13 cost €54. We have reserved an inside table for tonight. Dinner on Tuesday 26 September 2023 Pretty busy for a very wet Tuesday night, with three large Italian families complete with children and babies. A bottle of water, a litre of house red at €12, two Insalata di Arance at €3 each, one Pesce Spada Agrodolce at €14 and one Paccheri Matalotta or pasta with fish of the day at €17 cost €54. Beautiful swordfish and properly prepared "al dente" pasta. Lunch on Tuesday 26 September 2023 The very first place we visited! A bottle of water, a litre of house white €12, an Insalata Verde at €3, one Pesce Spada alla Griglia at €14, one Pesce Spada alla Marinara €15 and two coffees cost £52. The food and service were great and we booked again for tonight! Lunch on Monday 15 May 2023 Great atmosphere and welcoming staff in a beautiful restaurant which soon filled up with Italians (singles, couples, groups and families with small children). We ordered a bottle of water, a litre of house white at €12, an Insalata Mista (including lots of lettuce and tomatoes) at €4 (!), an Insalata di Arance (orange salad) at €3 (!), two specials of Spada Agrodolce (swordfish) at €14 each and two coffees at €1 (!) each. The total bill was ONLY €55! The last time I got an excellent large salad for €4 was on our honeymoon in Venice. And that was in 2003!!! Lunch on Saturday 13 May 2023 We were quite early but remained the only non Italian patrons, even after this spacious restaurant had started to fill up. We shared a starter of Caprese at €8. I had Spada Agrodolce (the best swordfish dish I have eaten this week and I have eaten swordfish twice every day) at €14 and my wife had Paccheri Matalotta con Ombrina (home made pasta, which was prepared in the traditional al dente Italian manner, with sea bream) at €17. We had a litre of excellent house white at €12, a bottle of water and two coffees at only €1 each. The total bill was €59. Lunch on Friday 12 May 2023 This is the first time we have ever been inside this restaurant (please see comments below). This is quite a large and modern restaurant with well-spaced tables and really wonderful staff. I had Pesce Spada alla Marinara (a lovely piece of swordfish with olives, capers, cherry tomatoes and oregano) at €15. My wife had Spigola al Vino Bianco (sea bass in white wine) at €15. We shared an Insalata Verde (a really well thought out and prepared side dish) at €4, a litre of the house red (good, but not perfect) at €12 and a bottle of water The total bill was €52.
