02/05/2025: 1) What is the venue like?
Historic venue in Perugia open for at least 10 years now, located on the second floor of a building (using the ramp), with a retro style typical of 90s Chinese venues. But it's not just that that's retro, but also the ordering system, with waiters who still use pen and paper (something that really annoys me, because I hate "begging" people to order something else). Outside the restaurant there is both a small car park and a terrible smell of fried food, which is now rare in restaurants of this type. Numerous tables are available in the various rooms, with also a large outdoor balcony on summer days. Very well-stocked menu in terms of Chinese dishes, much less so for Japanese ones. Highest price in all of Perugia if you go on weekends and holidays (€18.9 +2.5 for a bottle of water). Speaking of water, the waiter told me he would bring me a 1 liter bottle and instead it was 75cl... the TV was much appreciated, even if it was small and far from the tables, with videos of Chinese songs, it's just a shame that the owner hadn't signed up to YouTube Premium and we saw more advertisements than videos.
2) How do you eat it?
I must say that I was a little disappointed by the quality/price ratio, with very slow service (I think I waited 2 hours for about ten courses), errors in the kitchen (I ordered rice noodles and they brought me soy ones), strong smell of garlic in almost all the dishes, Chinese bread for a fee, and more.
-Appetizers: the raw fish is quite good and fresh, the soups are a little less so and tasted of little. Terrible vegetable ravioli (2 points out of 4)
-Sushi: Good and well plated (4/4)
-First: Can be improved (2/4)
-Seconds: Quite good (3/4)
3) Is it worth it? On weekends and holidays I really don't think so... and in fact the place was quite empty, so I wasn't the only one who thought so. I've eaten better for less. It's probably the only AYCE in Perugia that I didn't give bonus points to, and in fact, as I said previously, it doesn't excel at anything. All in all though, the food isn't bad. Satiety and thirst average.

29/04/2025: Buonasera, sono stato il 25 aprile con mia moglie e mia figlia entrambi disabili. La faccio breve: abbiamo scelto all you can eat e non ci hanno portato un 4/5 piatti di secondi per me e mia figlia. MAI PIÙ.
25/04/2025: Terrible sushi, soft seaweed that turns to rubber in the mouth, sashimi served on a plate instead of on ice.
Terrible service: to get wasabi we asked 5 people before having it and they even sent us the wrong rolls...
For 19 euros for lunch (menu only) it is terrible, I expect much more.

23/05/2025: The food is still good, although I used to find it better. The portions/size of some dishes have decreased. When ordering take-out they charge you for the sauces (which used to be free). I understand if you order an exaggerated amount of sauces, but if it's a couple, charging for them seems excessive to me. It's still one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, if not the best in Castello.

19/06/2025: Here we are in another historic Chinese restaurant in Perugia, which however has only been offering a menu in line with competing restaurants and with an All You Can Eat formula for a few years. It is located along the main road of Via Settevalli and there is both a small parking lot in front of the entrance of the restaurant and two larger parking lots of adjacent businesses. There is no unpleasant odor in the air.
1) What is the restaurant like?
To be honest, I liked the pre-renovation style much more, now it feels like entering a sort of canteen on a ship. But apart from the somewhat questionable design, the tables (about 15?) are quite spacious, with comfortable chairs, fluid tablets, and nice and clean bathrooms. The service is quite fast and professional but the staff is a bit too cold and detached (the only thing they said to me in two hours was asking for the table number at the cashier). Chinese piano-bar style music at a pleasant volume. No other detail struck me positively or negatively.
2) How is the food?
Overall, the menu is well-stocked (but unfortunately without Thai dishes), good plating, but with some doubts about the freshness of the raw fish.
-Appetizers: Apart from the spicy and sour soup, the carpaccio and tartare had a questionable consistency and a strange flavor. The ravioli were also disappointing (1/4)
-Sushi: Apart from the uramaki with black rice that seemed to have been prepared for hours, it was overall pleasant (2/4)
-First courses: Quite good but could be improved (3/4)
-Second courses: As above (3/4)
The sweet bread in the shape of a bunny is available but unfortunately limited to only one piece per person
3) Is it worth it?
Let's say that it was not an experience in line with the price paid (for lunch, €20.50 with a bottle of water). If the price had been AT LEAST 1€ less I could have turned a blind eye (but not that much, since there are competing restaurants where you can eat better for less than 19€), but as things stand I cannot warmly recommend the visit.

13/05/2025: I have dined at this sushi restaurant twice and each time it was a great experience. The environment is new, modern and very welcoming. The staff is friendly and always available. The quality of the fish is excellent and I highly recommend trying the typical dishes. My only personal comment: the udon were a little too cooked for my Italian tastes. However, highly recommended!

23/05/2025: First time for me in this restaurant, fast waiters who say "HERE IT IS" as soon as the dishes arrive, very friendly, well-kept location with out-of-place Christmas details (we are in May), great shame about the quality of the raw materials of the aforementioned, rotten fish except for the tuna, rice slightly frozen in my taste, accompanying sauces too sumptuous that outline a lack of balance of flavors and saltiness. We had to leave quickly for a fleeting and mysterious evacuation to the toilet

13/05/2025: We will NEVER go back!
We booked for two at 7:45 on Tuesday night and left the half-empty restaurant at 10:00.
We waited more than 50 minutes for the first appetizer, no one ever cleared anything of what we had on the table for the entire dinner, one waiter was even busy, but the other one sat watching tik toks the whole time. When a new customer came in, or people came to pick up take-away, everyone had to wait a long time to be taken into consideration.
After more than 1.30 hours sitting, I decided to ask the waiter how much longer it was for the second courses and he decided to deign to look at me and turn away. Totally embarrassing. We asked for water halfway through dinner that never arrived.
The thing that really saddens me is that the food was also good, but I left so bitter and angry that I would never eat it again.
Maybe it's time for those who work there to change jobs

21/03/2025: I lost count of how many times I came to eat here both alone and in company. Perugia needed this place.
Let's start with the staff who are extremely polite, kind, professional and smiling as for the place it is small, intimate, welcoming and clean.
The food is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I had tried poke in other restaurants/fast food even very well known but with bad memories like unfinished poke and a feeling of disgust to the point that I did not want to hear about it anymore.
By chance one day with a friend I ended up in this place and, tasting her poke that I had refused to take, it was love at first stick 🤣. A boom of fresh flavors, quality and QUANTITY.
Every now and then I also take something from the à la carte menu and once you have eaten the sushi there, it is difficult to go back to a common all you can eat.
To date for a few years I have been going there regularly. To recommend with my eyes closed.

08/06/2025: Disappointing restaurant.
Despite the very few people eating, we had piles of empty plates on our table for a long, long time.
The waiters were not interested in coming to see the conditions of the table, something that has never happened to me in other restaurants.
Furthermore, the menu has many errors regarding the allergens in the various dishes. Some waiters, when asked for information on allergens, were unable to answer, which is a serious problem given the allergies in my family, and for others in general. It is not possible that a breaded chicken has shellfish as allergens!! And this is just one example, the menu is full of these errors.
Furthermore, the cleanliness is not the best, we received temaki on a completely dirty support, see attached photo.
Too bad, the place would also be nice, but it is not worth it despite the fairly competitive price.
08/06/2025: Sakura is one of my favorite places to eat!
The menu has a great variety, and everything I’ve tried so far has been really tasty and well put together. The presentation is always nice, but not over-the-top — just clean and appetizing.
As a vegan, I really appreciate that there are plenty of options for me, which isn’t always the case in other places. The prices are fair, and the service is always friendly and helpful.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for a good meal without breaking the bank. 🤗

24/05/2025: the worst place I went to eat Chinese in Foligno. the dishes you order never arrive and you have to ask continuously you have waiters who don't reach you those cries and it happens continuously
26/03/2025: Chinese restaurant near the Foligno train station, I passed by by chance and having little time available, I didn't take advantage of the all you can it formula, but I only had delicious and giant steamed ravioli, some steamed ravioli and rice with chicken. Everything was good and light, the staff at the cash register and in the dining room were all very kind!!
