25/05/2024: The best sushi in Perugia (I've tried some) but none like Sun. Keep it up!

01/05/2024: It's not the first time I've been there, but this last time was nerve-wracking. My girlfriend and I arrive at 1.40am and order immediately from the tablet. After 15 minutes, she receives the dishes we ordered, but nothing for me. After 40 minutes, the carpaccio arrives and after another 10 minutes, the prawns. The fact is that after 1 now the sushi finally arrives after 3 or 4 times we asked how far they were and finally after about 1 hour and 20 I still had two dishes missing and I decided to leave. I honestly tried to wait because I was really hungry, but in the end I ate feeling pissed off. In the end he gave me a "15% discount" which was ridiculous considering that they served me 6 nighiri, 4 kungan and 3 skewers of prawns, it would have made a better impression to make me pay only for my girlfriend's menu and the drinks of both of us, a day to forget

06/04/2024: I returned to Foligno for a few days and had dinner three times at Shanghai; I had a very good time! The quality of the food was excellent, the preparation was good and the quantity was acceptable! I took Chinese dishes and found them excellent! Good value for money!! Recommended allyoucaneat, especially for lunch!!

05/04/2024: The food is very good, but the waitress did not give us pleasant attention, we are foreigners and we did not understand the language and she did not want to serve us, a young man came who served us better, I think he was the owner, very nice place.

26/03/2024: Historic restaurant in Città di Castello! Very fast service, we took steamed meat rolls, Cantonese rice and grilled pork, it was all very good, not very spicy perhaps, which I like.. 80's place, all covered in wood, at first they thought it was closed by the car park because it wasn't lit from outside but then we followed other customers who arrived after us... They also do Japanese but not all you can eat.. We will be back to try other dishes!

27/03/2024: It's a great place to eat sushi, simple things but also something special, the menu changes every so often. The owner is unique, nice and cute, she always spends some time with my son and makes you feel at home. It is absolutely recommended!

10/03/2024: Parto dal presupposto che non faccio mai recensioni ma quello che è successo ieri ci ha veramente schifato. Ieri sera avevamo prenotato per 2 persone, abbiamo una bambina di 7 mesi che sta in collo quando mangiamo, appena arrivati all’entrata davanti ad altri clienti il ragazzo ci dice con aria scocciata “ voi avete prenotato per 2 ma siete in 3, lo dovete dire io ora dove vi metto?” Noi abbiamo risposto che la bambina ha 7 mesi e sta in collo quindi a mangiare siamo in 2 ma con aria sempre più scocciata ci ha detto “si vabè ora mettetevi li nell’angolo e aspettate”. Noi allibiti siamo andati via. Era il nostro sushi preferito ma non ci verremo più, anche io lavoro al pubblico ma se non uno non ha più voglia è meglio che smetta. Veramente pessimo!!!

03/04/2024: Sakura is the best sushi place in Perugia, been to different sushi places but this is the best. Delicious sushi, and they don’t add a ton of rice, everything is in moderation, thanks to this you can feel the taste of the fish, and not just eat rice, as happens in some sushi bars

18/03/2024: The low rating is not for the food, because the food is good, even if the portions are smaller than in other restaurants, but because when we entered I informed that the 10 year old child who doesn't eat Japanese didn't do the all you can eat, while the other 4 adults did. At the end of the evening, after consuming what we had ordered, I asked my son if he wanted to try the soy spaghetti, but only to let him try and taste a new food that wasn't MC Donald's. I brought the plate closer to him and one of the waitresses immediately intervened to tell me that the child could not touch the food, absolutely nothing, not even a grain of rice. This bothered me a lot, because only then did I realize why the room manager kept looking at us. It was an unforgivable lapse in style. When I found myself in Perugia, I always went there, but after what happened they will never see me again.

07/04/2024: Overall a good sushi, the size of the sushi is a little smaller than average, but there is also a lot of choice of cooked dishes.

01/04/2024: We had lunch today, Easter Monday, with 3 people. We were enthusiastic and very satisfied, varied menu and fresh ingredients. Quick to serve but at least between one course and another they let you breathe! Clean and welcoming place. Although we went for lunch, the menu is quite extensive. Thank you, we will definitely be back, maybe for dinner.

15/03/2024: AAA is recommended to take it with philosophy and the right tone of voice, quite compelling. A short sad story. Having established that it was close to home, we challenged fate with a charge of optimism directly proportional to a platoon, disdaining any human tool in favor of Chinese chopsticks which, despite what I'm about to say, were cute. If you want to eat sushi this is the wrongest place you can find on the earth's surface. Are you wondering why there is a star? well, I wouldn't have put that one either if it weren't for the fact that I have a good heart and a review was due. Today Tripadvisor will be granted clemency, quite the opposite of Google Maps which hopefully will no longer take the aforementioned place into consideration. That said: Are you used to eating fresh sushi? Forget it. The rice is at room temperature, almost warm, it looks like leftovers from Sunday two weeks ago. If you're in the middle of the week when you read this review, do a quick algebraic calculation and you'll find Jack-o'-lanterns, or start from year zero - it makes no difference. The seaweed is shriveled like life, the fish is tasteless and faded like a memory, the service, although quite fast, is confusing, a mixture of hot/lukewarm which if before could have been a problem for digestion, believe me, it isn't more from the moment you discover that everything has the same taste, smell and temperature. The Cantonese rice is sautéed in the pan, yellow and if it looks like saffron I say stop, sticky and spagnolated on the plate that doesn't even look like the soup kitchen. No buffet, everything à la carte. This gentlemen, is blasphemy at the modest sum of €12.90 (lunch). And if you've thought about it, no: Salvatore Aranzulla can't solve the problem this time. I'll spare you the photos, I for one kindly avoided them. Enjoy your meal! 🙂

18/05/2024: Truly super welcoming and owner who makes you feel like you've gone to dinner with your Aunt! You sit at the table with a smile, and you can enjoy a good oriental dinner in the company of whoever you want!

03/05/2024: It's quite an inconvenient place to reach by public transport and from word of mouth and reviews I should have found an alternative point of reference for raw food in Perugia. This was not exactly the case in the sense that the products, although fresh, did not have a distinctive "character" or at least the same as other places. I personally found the raw salmon not very tasty even though the sashimi offers really thick slices. The nigiri are completely wrong in width and length according to my knowledge and the rice was good but it filled me up a lot. The spring rolls left only grease in my mouth and I didn't taste the vegetables at all or very much. The various rolls were better than the salmon alone but nothing unforgettable. Prices are well above average for an "all you can eat" formula. The place is mainly frequented by young university students. The dedicated car park which should be private land is perpetually occupied by what I consider to be residents and if it were true, I would invite the owner to encourage parking for customers only.

22/05/2024: Not very expert in oriental food..... but as a first experience in this place, very positive feeling... dishes arrived at the right pace, kind and very nice waitresses, very good food, modern environment, nice place.... well done 👏 ！

16/05/2024: I absolutely cannot understand the few negative reviews here. I have nothing to complain about, it's a perfect sushi with very good taste, little rice and a lot of fish. The fried food is also very good. Staff is very friendly!
