06/11/2025: We expected more from the meat dish; taste-wise it was just "okay". The price-performance ratio was not good; friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

26/09/2025: We went to Ristorante A Squella in Gerace, planning on eating fish, but alas, fish wasn't on the menu. The place was inviting, so much so that we decided to order it anyway. The homemade antipasto was delicious, full of homemade products that immediately won us over. And then, the pasta... The "Pasta Casereccia A-Squella" was truly sublime! We immediately identified the sausage, 'nduja, and scamorza, but there were other secret ingredients we couldn't discover. Everything was expertly measured, creating a unique and authentic flavor, typical of Calabria. Ristorante A Squella in Gerace RC Guys, it's worth the trip.

07/09/2025: At this kiosk, we had a brioche with bergamot gelato and fig granita. The bergamot gelato was amazing!! The flavor was delicate, but you could still taste the bergamot. The fig granita was the fruit!! During our vacation in Calabria, we tried bergamot gelato several times, and we weren't thrilled because it always had an aftertaste of..."detergent"... My advice is to try the bergamot gelato from the La Cattolica kiosk, and then tell me... ;)

26/09/2025: Just as we were leaving Gerace, we happened upon this pastry shop where we had a delicious gelato with brioche. The gelato was creamy, with authentic flavors, and plentiful. The staff were young, quick, and friendly.

29/09/2025: Perfect for a quick lunch break in the center of Tropea. Good paninis, salads, and coffee, friendly and efficient service, and reasonable prices for the location.

27/09/2025: It's more of a snack stand and a garden. At first glance, nothing much. But.....the absolute best Arancini with nduja. The service was great, very pleasant and kind. We were very satisfied. Too bad they're closed on Saturdays. I recommend

05/10/2025: We ate quite well. The seafood dishes were carefully prepared and generously portioned, particularly the varied mixed antipasto and the truly flavorful seafood pasta. The main courses were also tasty and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was informal yet pleasant. The prices were reasonable for the quality. A good place for a simple yet tasteful seafood dinner.

03/10/2025: When the weather's nice, the tables are set in an old alleyway in Pizzo. The food is freshly prepared, and the men's crew is friendly and authentic.

09/11/2025: Five stars isn't enough for such deliciousness! It's simply incredibly delicious! I give it 10 out of 5 stars! The staff is also very friendly and attentive, which is very important. Huge respect to this place! It was the best of all the places we visited in three days in Lamezia.

A traditional restaurant with the feel of a quaint, popular tavern, simple yet meticulously crafted. Excellent cuisine with balanced, very tasty dishes. The service is precise and attentive, yet pleasantly entertaining. Very reasonable prices, well-deserved for the quality of the food. I will gladly return. Thank you.

17/11/2025: A seafood restaurant with an overall good rating. Good value, and the food is generally generous. The staff is friendly, although the service is occasionally a little inattentive or slow. The location itself is a bit of a letdown (not a great one, to be honest). Still, recommended.

28/10/2025: Absolute luxury! One of the best pizzas I've ever had – the dough was perfect, crispy yet fluffy, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was perfectly balanced. The service was nice, fast and the atmosphere was pleasant. When you say Italy, this is exactly how I imagine a real pizza – simple, honest and irresistibly tasty. I will definitely come back here every time I visit Scalea! 🇮
