04/10/2024: arrivando a gerace, chiediamo a due signori un luogo dove poter mangiare un gelato artigianale, e subito ci viene consigliato il “bar dolce e salato” dove dicono che sia il miglior gelato di gerace, arriviamo al bar e il titolare molto simpatico ci fa assaggiare pistacchio salato e zafferano, gelato FAVOLOSO, penso sia uno dei migliori gelati che io abbia mai assaggiato, prezzo molto onesto due coni 5 euro, per l’altissima qualita del gelato è veramente un prezzo molto onesto, vi consiglio vivamente questo posto.

25/05/2025: We went for dinner on Friday, attracted by the proposal of a barbecue accompanied by live music with the trio Tocci, Arnieri and De Rose. The premises were excellent: convivial atmosphere, good food and live entertainment. However, the overall experience did not reflect expectations. The staff was courteous, but unfortunately very difficult to find during the evening. The waiting times were long and even simple requests such as water, bread or cutlery required more promptness. We ordered three main courses, but only one arrived initially. When we asked for clarification, we were confidently told that everything was there, leaving us a bit perplexed. The quality of the meat served was uneven, with some pieces well cooked and others very hard or burnt. The ‘mpacchiuse potatoes, ordered in two portions, were served in a truly minimal quantity. A big round of applause goes to the musicians, who performed with passion and professionalism, even if the environment did not favor listening due to the acoustics and background noise. Unfortunately, the evening, which could have been pleasant, was disappointing in several respects. We hope that the venue can improve the management of the service, because the idea behind the event is valid.

19/06/2025: Io e mio marito abbiamo prenotato questa struttura al rientro da un viaggio in Sicilia, per poi proseguire a tappe vs Torino, la nostra città. Il tempo di permanenza non è stato lungo, una sola notte, ma abbiamo apprezzato la cortesia del personale, la bellezza del luogo e la bontà dei loro prodotti. Ci siamo fermati a cena e i piatti, abbondanti, sono stati all'altezza delle aspettative.: buoni e abbondanti. Tanto che il dolce non siamo più riusciti a prenderlo. La colazione, con i prodotti di loro produzione, è stata ottima. Il signore che ci ha accompagnati sia durante la cena che a colazione è stato molto gentile e premuroso. Idem i signori incontrati alla reception. L'esterno è molto bello, piante, fiori, acqua che scorre intorno all'hotel. Alcune parti ancora "cantiere" e in fase di costruzione/ampliamento. Molto bello! Lo consiglio.

11/05/2025: Last night 5/10/2025 I went to the Bar Roma ice cream shop side, I kindly asked for a hazelnut cup and a girl gave me hazelnut with pistachio. when I told her that I hadn't asked for pistachio she didn't apologize but continued to reiterate and slam the cup twice on the counter. since he only removed the pistachio from the cup I was left with pistachio residues and I couldn't eat it even after paying for it. this is not the first time she has responded like an arrogant grump, in fact a few weeks before the girl was at the entrance to the door without doing anything, we asked for a yogurt and she is there done by constantly boasting and even answering us badly. the other employees are all nice and the delicious ice cream, too bad that for this girl and the way she treats customers I won't go there anymore.

20/06/2025: Truly a top place, like few others in Calabria. Elegant, refined and super clean environment. We ate fish twice, and both times everything was perfect. Very high quality food, cooked delicately and tasty, from appetizers, to first courses and grills. The creamy sorbet was also excellent. The appetizer with various courses of stockfish was very good (except for the courgette flower fritters which were made only with flour, without courgette flowers), the first course with stockfish ragù was decent (I would have preferred it tastier), the stockfish au gratin was very good. The cheesecake with berry topping was excellent (and not with the berry toppings indicated on the menu). Honest prices
