15/05/2024: Local - Spartan restaurant, clean and with good food. Good food and excellent value for money. Book if you want to taste an excellent pair.

14/05/2024: My husband and I found this little restaurant by chance (it's very small, I think a maximum of fifteen seats) and the discovery was more than positive. Express food, freshly cooked, very good (from the starter, simple bruschetta with various condiments, to the first course - little red hearts stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and fettuccine with mushrooms - and then salmon trout and Sicilian-style aubergine rolls, with dried cherry tomatoes, and chips cheese and black pepper). The owner offered us a small welcome aperitif and the overall cost was more than honest. Further added value: the restaurant, with an adjoining bar, has undergone a small downsizing (this is the reason for the few seats) due to the explosion, last January 6th, apparently, of a gas cylinder in a nearby building (which also involved other buildings adjacent, including the bar restaurant). Fortunately no one was hurt, but the bar was affected - it is currently closed, cordoned off) while the restaurant's activity has been restricted, certainly not the hospitality of the managers, but it can continue to operate so... . one more reason to have a good lunch/dinner and contribute to the recovery of this little "surprise".

The staff are warm, friendly and attentive to the needs of each customer, they are also very knowledgeable about food intolerances, in fact I ate delicious gluten-free dishes, so the service is impeccable. The menu is a triumph of flavors: which make the taste buds dance. Each dish is prepared with fresh and authentic ingredients, presented with a skill that respects the African culinary tradition, making the experience not just a pleasant meal, but a real sensorial journey. In conclusion, Ciwara is not just a restaurant, it is an unforgettable experience that celebrates the richness of Africa, from the culture, food, music, to the beauty of the people. Highly recommended! :)

12/02/2024: Such a great place to eat and meet great people Went for dinner at 9pm and stayed until 3am dancing in the streets. Great night Thanks for the delicious Food 😋

30/03/2024: Somehow, after my travel I remembered a lot of times back to this delicious Pasta with Fennel and Sardines I ate when I was there. Really well cooked! Only critic point, besides the Pastas the portion size of some dishes are really too small. For example the artichoke is more like an expensive appetizer.
