The place is very famous, it doesn't need much introduction. The specialty is meat bombette. The method is a bit particular, it is not possible to book. The restaurant opens around 7pm but you have to queue much earlier (in May no problem, during the season there is even a queue of two hours). First you enter the butcher's shop and choose what to eat: bombettes-sausages-burgers... Then you sit in the restaurant part. It was all superb, you can really feel the freshness of the meat and I think it is one of the most authentic and least touristy places to eat this specialty. Inside the shop there are photos of many VIPs who have been here. Only note: the service needs to be a little more attentive, we asked for bread two or three times before getting it. But everyone was very kind. Excellent experience, highly recommended!

We had the bombonette, the local sausage and the incredible side of real fondant to DIE FOR!
Very good value for money
No starter or dessert but that’s not a problem

I went on Easter Monday and considering that they don't accept reservations, the waiting times are quite modest. Not to mention the meat, something spectacular, a fantastic cut. Excellent location, definitely worth repeating.

Very good restaurant in the center of Cisternino. It is a restaurant with a counter with all its meats, where you choose the one you want.
We ordered a “mix”, and the truth is that in general all the meats were very good, and we were also able to try typical products from the area.
Also, the restaurant was nice and the staff very friendly. And also, very good quality-price.
Totally recommended site.

Ma che bella esperienza culinaria qui da zio Pietro. Ci siamo fidati delle ottime recensioni e abbiamo deciso di provare… mai scelta migliore! Certo abbiamo atteso un po’ ma vi assicuro che ne è valsa la pena! Non la solita osteria o ristorante, qui passi prima nel reparto macelleria, scegli la carne che vuoi mangiare e poi ti accomodi al tavolo. Carne ottima, tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo mangiato le bombette sia di maiale che di vitello, le salsicce e gli straccetti panati… una vera goduria per il palato. Peccato per le patate intere al forno, non abbiamo potuto assaggiarle perché erano terminate. Prezzi più che onesti, in due solo 40€. Complimenti, sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Comunque gli straccetti non li dimentico facilmente… TOP!

Situato al centro storico, dopo una lunga fila ci siamo accomodati. Abbiamo preso le famose bombette impanate (normali e spicy), salsiccia pomodo e parmigiano e i fegatini, con insalata mista. Da bere coca e vino rosso. Abbiamo speso 28.50. Prezzo buono e cibo squisito.
Da ritornare.
