The Fork
Typical Roman restaurant in the Garibaldi area. Everything is reminiscent of the Roman tradition, the carbonara is space-age! The only flaw is that the tables are very close together. Usually quite crowded, reservations required!

I went to dinner with some friends, I had an amatriciana and it was delicious 👌🏻 They liked the carbonara and a soufle as a starter was also an excellent choice. I would happily return 😋

During our short holiday in Milan we visited this excellent restaurant twice in a row - they have a wide selection of starters ranging from artichokes to buffala and all sorts of other Roman dishes. The atmosphere is inviting and invites you to linger.

There were five of us at lunch. The dishes consumed were good and plentiful. Critical note: small and close tables, annoying blaring music, it was difficult to speak.

Nell'ora di pausa degli uffici in zona è affollatissimo ma non per questo il servizio è rallentato, anzi. I piatti sono della tradizione italiana e romana, ottimi.

Questo locale è situato in zona Moscova a Milano. La location è carina e il posto in generale è molto in stile trattoria romana (molto caciarone); tuttavia all'interno lo spazio è davvero poco tra un tavolo e l'altro e in generale muoversi è un po' impegnativo. La cucina non è male: consiglio sicuramente gli antipasti (molto gustosi i taglieri di salumi, i cariciofi e le fritture). Sui primi nutro qualche dubbio, non ho trovato la romanità nell'amatriciana e nella cacio e pepe, le quantità sono molto abbondanti. Il rosso della casa non è male. Servizio amichevole e simpatico. Consiglio questo locale se si vuole passare una serata tra amici senza troppo impegno.

06/04/2024: We had dinner for two, we had a carbonara (delicious) and a pinsa (good, average). The prices are understandable compared to the location of the restaurant as it is centrally located with respect to the columns of San Lorenzo. Friendly staff only flaw -> not very familiar with English. I had to translate to the waiter what my partner who doesn't speak Italian but only English wanted. Vintage and refined environment. Recommended but if you have a budget of at least €30/40 each.

06/04/2024: There were 3 of us and we had the courgette flowers and chicory as a starter, both good. As first courses, gricia and pajata, perfectly cooked pasta and generous portion. Saltimbocca, the meat is tender but nothing special honestly. The desserts are very good (pistachio and millefeuille cake), super table service
