Nice venue on the banks of the Ticino, excellent for occasions with a good number of guests but also for lunches or dinners for a few people

Beautiful location along the Ticino. The cuisine is varied and attentive to every detail. The staff is helpful and accommodating. An interesting culinary experience that I highly recommend

You cannot review a restaurant on a holiday like New Year's Eve. I ate well, but some friends had some problems. Worth trying in another context. The place is always fascinating.

Bella location sul Fiume Ticino dove la tranquillità regna sovrana . Cucina nella norma con menù che accontenta un po’ tutti , personale cordiale ed attento ; peccato che alcuni piatti vengono assemblati ( in maniera un po’ retro’ ) al tavolo dal gestore che chiacchera senza sosta sputacchiando inevitabilmente nel cibo ….. Tralasciando questo particolare, se pur non trascurabile visto il periodo , tutto sommato non male.

Il pranzo di Natale a Villa Pio è stato un'esperienza culinaria straordinaria che ha superato ogni aspettativa. I gestori, Mario e Michela, hanno reso l'atmosfera calda e accogliente, trasmettendo un senso di festa unico. Michele ha reso il nostro servizio impeccabile con professionalità e cortesia, e anche alla dolce Chiara per la sua gentilezza Grazie a tutto il team di Villa Pio per aver reso il nostro Natale indimenticabile con un mix perfetto di gastronomia eccezionale e un servizio impeccabile.

Piacevole ristorante lungo la spnda lombarda del Ticino. Reso famoso anche per essere stato set di un film, negli anni ottanta.

Amazing food. The best steak I've ever had, as a UK national this was by far the nicest steak I've eaten. Service was polite, friendly, welcoming. Highly recommended. As a working professional. This is a great place to being working customers or suppliers.

15/05/2024: What can I say, here in this restaurant you can find everything, friendliness, friendliness and professionalism, as well as excellent food at normal prices, a very welcome wine cellar but also excellent beers and finally, to say the least, fantastic desserts to try all... I recommend it to full marks, we will definitely return to try other specialties... full speed ahead
15/05/2024: I had dinner last night and I must say that the reception was positive. Everyone waved and smiled. I ordered 1 pizza and I have to say it was excellent. The waiters went out of their way to 2 foreign customers with good English. I also noticed that the waiters did not collect the dirty glasses from the tables by putting their fingers in the glasses, but rather by the stem. The only slightly sore point is that 4 euros for a small beer seems a little excessive to me. To be recommended

07/05/2024: Update for the 6/12/24 event Evening with guest architect and designer Eugenio Farina. Vegetable line designed specifically for me, delicious! Congratulations again. Unforgettable evening with the "Free on the plate" themed dinner The menu, dedicated to the Milanese tradition of yesterday, was a true journey through time. The dishes, prepared with care and passion, were a true delight for the palate. The spectacle of the readings and the background music, however, contributed to creating a truly evocative atmosphere. At the end of the literary dinner, a book was given to all the guests, an unexpected and very welcome thought, those gestures that remain.... A round of applause to chef Costantino Di Claudio and all the staff for their impeccable organisation. (My thanks for your patience and availability in recreating, just for me, a veg line; the chef's openness to these dishes also denotes his high level, not only in the kitchen but also as a person). Location with great attention to detail with a breathtaking view of Besozzo Highly recommended! I can't wait to go back...
