Vanilla Club In Firenze

It’s a purposefully hidden gem. The ambiance is perfect: sophisticated yet intimate. But the real star is the owner & bartender. He crafts experiences and cocktails, and he understands the speakeasy ethos better than anyone else in his generation. He’s easily as talented as Erik Lorincz or Jeffrey Morgenthaler. Vanilla Club’s competition isn’t other Florence speakeasies like Rasputin; it easily beats Please Don’t Tell and can hold a candle to 1930.

While the bar may self-proclaim that they are "the worst place in Florence," every visit to Vanilla Club confirms to me that it's the best place in Florence. The owner is a master at crafting unique cocktails curated specifically for your taste and delights in sharing his knowledge. Be curious and be friendly and you're sure to have a life changing experience (and maybe just meet some incredible and interesting strangers).

One of the best evenings I've spent in recent years. The owner is a true showman capable of entertaining with his splendid personality as well as surprising with expertly prepared cocktails. My friends and I arrived there without knowing anyone and by the end of the evening I felt like I was at home, in the company of old friends. I will absolutely have to come back the next time I'm in Florence.

Anyone who gives 1 star reviews because the owner is rude or didn't allow access definitely hasn't understood the story behind this magical place. You have to "gain" entry simply by following the rules of the place (which are ultimately simpler than you might think). Patience and perseverance are also tested, it is a process for selecting customers (we are entering the owner's house, not a club). After more than an hour and on the third attempt we managed to access this splendid reality. Very nice guys, friendly with decor and cocktails (excellent) inherent to the 30s. Once inside you feel like one of the family. Definitely recommended for those who want to try a different experience than usual.

Magical place, you have to enter to believe it

It was a challenge to enter, not to mention the effort to find the right words but trust me it's worth all the effort!!!! If you are looking for a place to spend unexpected evenings, with nice people and excellent drinks I advise you to rack your brain a bit. To repeat! 😎

Excellent place, with a super elegant atmosphere inside the cellars of an elegant building. Super-trained and available staff for every request and advice!

I can't give more than 5 stars but probably no number would be enough! A "club" in all respects and if the owner of the house, Stefano, ever decides to let you in (according to the rules you must find to enter) you will not regret it. Unparalleled alcohol, every drink tailor-made and Stefano's company, together with the other guests, made time fly by in the snap of the fingers.
