Me apetecía mucho este lugar ya que Castellina es uno de los favoritos. El tiramisú era excepcionalmente bueno y probablemente solo vale la pena esta visita. Quizás me tomé una pizza en un día libre, pero el quatro formaggi no sabía a queso en absoluto! Sin embargo, iré de nuevo.

Posto carino ma servizio lento e cibo non all altezza l arrosto misto sapeva troppo di olio e la tagliata poco morbida il resto nella norma

20/07/2025: A nice place with a terrace and an indoor atmosphere, facing a pretty square in Pienza. The service was good, and the food was decent. In this case, the Pici (like shorter, thicker spaghetti) with Calcio and Pepe, as well as a mixed platter with various local products (salami, prosciuto, pecorino cheeses, and more). Highly recommended.

29/08/2025: Lunch in August with children. The lasagna was really bland. The meat was good. Still, €70 for 3 dishes and water, without wine or desserts. It's crazy, but these are the prices charged in the area...
25/08/2025: Oh, go ahead, some people look for a fancy place, with the right lighting and velvet chairs. I don't. I'm interested in the meat on the plate and the courtesy of the person bringing it to you. And here, I'll tell you the truth, they know what they're doing. I had a beef cheek that melted in my mouth, tender as butter, and some local pasta dishes made just right. The atmosphere? Maybe it's not something out of a magazine, maybe it's a little cramped and the lighting isn't right, but who cares. When the owner and the guys are down-to-earth, people who know their job and treat you like a Christian and not a walking wallet, the rest matters little. You eat well, you spend the right amount, and you leave with a smile. This is the real osteria. Period.
