Away from the madding crowd, still very central, reservations required on Saturday evenings. Quiet service, space between tables, full opportunity to chat with your fellow diners. Very Bolognese menu, complete with fried food. Very kind staff.

Delicious. Very tasty, excellent service, but it is important to reserve because the place is small.

The lasagna is very good, a very cozy place

We loved this place so much, are dinner here one night and then next day were fortunate to get a lunch booking, and so really got to taste the menu. It’s a wonderful restaurant, like eating in your grandma’s kitchen and totally family run. I counted maybe 12 tables, and the history of the family adorns the walls. Lovely table cloths and service. It’s a small menu, but so fresh and really honors Bologna. If party of four (like we were) I would totally recommend splitting the fried vegetables/meat/ custard platter. The pork cutlet in this platter is sublime. For dinner on the first night I had pasta with spicy sausage and it was so good! Perfectly al dente pasta followed by the incredible zuppa Ingles for dessert left my stomach happy as a hog. For lunch the next day, we got the aforementioned fried platter to share, and then the Parmesan pasta in broth which felt like a hug. The tiramisu was incredible and every bite was a delight. Prices were so incredibly reasonable too! Definitely a win and totally recommend coming here to this restaurant to eat! Tip: ask for the thicker balsamic.

Small and welcoming environment, refined and traditional food, honest prices

In one word, Amazing. In two words: cannot miss, in three words, Best of Balogna! We were a party of four and tried different things and every dish has its unique flavors, including the dessert! Small restaurant which is 127 years old! Delicious!

Best Totellini I've ever eaten!!!

Trattoria bolognese non solo nel menù ma anche nell'ambiente e nellìatmosfera. Nessuna velleità da gran ristorante ma qualità e gentilezza sono di alto livello. Il menù con versione in bolognese propone tutti i piatti classici: tortellini, gramigna, taglatelle, cotoletta, polpette, zuppa inglese, torta di riso. Qualche dubbio sui vini: solo bottiglie locali che io personalmente non apprezzo molto, Si potrebbe osare qualcosa di più senza comunuqe ampliare troppo l'offerta. Si tornerà presto

Nel centro di Bologna, luogo molto accogliente, con caratteristiche di tipica trattoria anche se l’atmosfera risulta meno confusionaria. Cibo buono, quantità giuste, buoni i tortellini in brodo, anche la cotoletta alla bolognese merita. Purtroppo vino della casa da rivedere. Prezzi medio alti, personale gentile ed attento.
