very nice family resturant , with welcoming and fun vibes , the food was excellent and the owner kept asking us how was it to make sure it was good but with no doubt it was. like any other tourstic place, it might get very hectic so i reccomend to book with suffecint time if going at high season.

Siamo arrivati in questo ristorante alle 14 nonostante non avessimo prenotato e siamo stati accolti con piacere. Il cibo è buono ed il servizio è disponibile.

We returned for the third time in a year. Always up to par. Pleasant place, staff always friendly and helpful. Not expensive prices considering the quality. Worth trying and definitely coming back

Excellent food, zero km. The small mussels au gratin and the broad bean and chicory soup served in a loaf of bread are delicious.
Excellent and very fresh fish, I also recommend tasting the sweet "cartellate" that the owner of the house will make you taste as a "pamper" at the end of a sumptuous lunch.

La Trattoria da zio Ottavio è il meglio che si possa trovare a Monopoli. Situata nel centro storico offre piatti della cucina tipica pugliese molto molto saporiti. Il personale è molto cortese e sempre disponibile. Prezzi in linea con gli altri posti della zona!

Cercavamo un posto per una semplice pizza, purtroppo non abbiamo preso altro ma i piatti che guardavamo per gli altri tavoli erano pieni di tantissimi bontà, quindi dobbiamo ritornare per forza, magari a pranzo perché c'è veramente tanto da assaggiare. Personale gradevole, locale molto caratteristico, sicuramente datato e molto pulito. Consigliato anche a famiglie con bambini.

Les plats que nous avons choisis étaient très bons mais le poisson entier qui accompagnait les pâtes a fait exploser la note.
