I went to this restaurant for the first time in February and I couldn't wait to go back. Good dishes, staff who make you feel at home, welcome you, include you. There is a truly family atmosphere, almost like having lunch at grandma's house. Highly recommended.

In a quiet street near the Careggi hospital, it's a good solution if you don't have time to get home,,,,less than 10 minutes from the tram terminus, cheap meal for 10 euros... if you skip it the first you have the option of a second with side dish... water included. Excellent solution for those emergency days..

I came to this place to celebrate my graduation and I had a great time! The place is very welcoming, the food is delicious (especially the Florentine steak), the desserts are homemade, excellent! The owner kept us entertained the whole time and the waitresses were really nice and friendly. Plus it's a very cheap place! Highly recommended❤️

A trattoria in the true sense of the word. The staff is very kind. The owner is a very nice and friendly character. The food is very good. Suitable for those who love real places. I recommend. Excellent value for money

Extremely simple and economical restaurant with a wide choice of tasty and fresh dishes First course, second course, side dish, dessert, wine, water for 12 euros. There's nothing else to say. Recommended for a quick but complete hot lunch.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene in questa tipica trattoria fiorentina. Servizio veloce ed il proprietario molto simpatico cosa che fa molto piacere trovare una persona oggi così.

Open for lunch, excellent fixed menu with traditional Tuscan dishes. Friendly staff and a very nice owner who brightens up your meal with a smile and the good humor of a person who loves their job.

Io e mamma abbiamo trovato per caso questa trattoria vicino al CTO. Che dire, ottima sorpresa! Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile! 10 euro primo secondo contorno vino acqua e caffè. Ovviamente non vi aspettate piatti stellati ma piatti gustosi sì. Abbiamo preso tagliatelle al ragù (ragù delizioso) e bistecca e spezzatino come secondo. Tutto buonissimo! In più lo Staff è davvero cortese, soprattutto il proprietario (si capisce che ama il suo lavoro). Ti fanno venire voglia di tornarci! Perfetto per chi vuole tirarsi un po' sù, visto anche gli ospedali vicini (Careggi, Meyer). Provare per credere!

12/05/2024: I was in this restaurant on a Friday evening with friends on reservation (not mandatory). The restaurant serves typical Milanese cuisine; the starters were excellent, the first course (risotto with pears, cheese and hazelnuts) was disappointing... The dessert was promoted. Very kind and present staff. Honest prices. In general I recommend this place and if I have the opportunity I will return to try another dish. I believe that my choice was a coincidence.

23/05/2024: We were tired and looking for a last minute place to have a nice dinner on our final night in Florence and I am so glad we stumbled upon Babae. The food was great, the menu offers a lot of variety without compromising quality, which is something we noticed many other restaurants failed to do. The space is really nice and the drinks are great but what impressed us most was definitely the staff. After being treaty so coldly by service and staff everywhere else, we were treated to perfection at Babae. Our waiter Jean was kind and attentive and super fun to talk to, made us want to come back! We wanted to tip him but unfortunately couldn’t tip with card, which seems to be the norm here, and didn’t have any cash, so hopefully the good review will make up for it. Wish service was like this everywhere else in Italy. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Florence.
