Trattoria Ligagin In Lumarzo

We had dinner at Ligagin and all 5 of us enjoyed a very good meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant in a nice location. Staff was friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend Trattoria Ligagin. Today, May 08/24, we had lunch again and I can recommend the tagliatelle of nettles with funghi. At the end we had fried acacia flowers (see the flowers prior to frying) which are very nice. If they have it, try it.

What can I say... I was immediately attracted by the menu I saw on the web, so I booked through Facebook and got on the motorbike with my wife and arrived here! I immediately received a warm welcome from the Piaggio sisters and then they delighted me with their dishes! Excellent Ligurian cuisine dishes revisited and offered with splendid dishes, I highly recommend the Italian frying. The other dishes were really excellent and genuine. I noticed the variety of the wine cellar and above all the quality of the bitters and spirits. What can I say, good girls!! And then the name... ligagin... which could be the nickname of the founder, which perhaps in Genoese meant the one who tied the vineyard or the hay or the fagots, or even the one who wove the baskets... but in any case the one who links the innovation of modern cuisine and above all that "links" the place and its customers!

I returned to visit the Ligagin family after more than twenty years of absence. It was a welcome and pleasant surprise to discover how Ligagin's cuisine has changed which, from a very traditional village trattoria, has transformed into a slow food reference point in Italy. The dishes are typical of the Ligurian cuisine of the past, but revisited in a slow way: each dish is prepared at the moment, so as to respect the preparation and cooking times - who knows if you are in a hurry. Ligagin is not the most suitable option, however yes, it is if you want to savor the vital energy of freshly prepared and cooked fresh ingredients. The composition of the courses is a pleasure for the eyes even before the palate, the flavor is authentic, but with a modern touch that makes each course fresh and current, but without pretensions. There is also an extensive wine list which I have not tried. The atmosphere is completely genuine, I felt at home; the energy that is perceived comes from those who do things with the heart and from the heart. I certainly won't wait another twenty years to return... Thanks to Marika, Barbara and Tina for the delicacies they offered us, for the smiles and hugs.

Truly delicious food. The desserts are delicacies.....I would say works of art. Restaurant not to be missed. Managed really well, you feel like you are at home.

Sono tornata dopo diversi anni e devo dire che mi sono trovata di nuovo bene. Personale e proprietarie gentili ed efficienti. Servizio svolto nei giusti tempi. Menù abbastanza variegato e tradizionale. Piatti non abbondanti ma buoni. Ottimo il fritto misto. Dolci un po' troppo dolci (gusto personale ovviamente). Ampia scelta nella carta dei vini. Sicuramente merita una visita.

Ligagin non e’ comodissimo da raggiungere….ci sono curve, poi altre curve e tanti boschi intorno. Quando arrivi l’esterno non e’ un granché e la strada rimane “ a due passi”…. All’interno due stanze, una piacevole e raccolta, l’altra troppo spoglia e datata, dove non basta il caminetto acceso a renderla accogliente. Ma invece l’accoglienza e’ gradevole, sincera, il menu interessante e con prezzi onesti. Grissini, pani piacevoli e un piccolo benvenuto dalla cucina. Che e’ davvero apprezzabile, con piatti buoni e ben presentati. La trattoria incontra la cucina gourmet senza eccessi, con garbo e misura, gusto e fantasia. E’ sorprendente la bontà e la cura di alcuni piatti che denotano capacità tecnica e amore per la cucina e per il commensale. Da ricordare il flan di cipolla di Tropea con la ricotta e il tiramisù, delizioso anche nella presentazione. Vale la pena affrontare le curve per “mangiare” davvero bene e sperare di trovare presto un dehor esterno degno delle proposte della cucina.
