Small but welcoming place, super dishes!! 👍

We went to visit Montalcino and it was time to eat, it was low season and many places were closed, it had good reviews and we went in. The restaurant was full of workers which is usually a good sign. It is a very small restaurant and all the tables are quite close together. Being small and the Italians don't speak softly, it is a little noisy, but it is something very typical of the area. It didn't bother me at all because if it bothered me I wouldn't have eaten. nowhere during my trip through Tuscany. Because of the similarity of the waiters and the way they interact with the kitchen, I would say that it is a family restaurant. The products that were coming out to the other tables looked very good and the menu looked good. They had a very wide selection of wines with many options for the same price range, so I asked the waiter for a recommendation and he brought us a pretty good wine. We opted to share a selection of cold cuts and toast and then try the Florentine meat, which in the end is like a stone-grilled steak here. The products were all very good, the desserts were really disappointing, the tiramisu was not bad, but for the area it was in, expectations were quite high. The rest is nothing but the truth. The price is in line with most of the area, people say that Tuscany is cheap because they are small towns and if you eat quality products it is not cheap. For what we ate with coffee included, I can't say it was expensive, really, quite in line with the product we ate.

Good restaurant in the center of Montalcino. We ate a delicious Florentine steak! I recommend it.👍🏻

Ristorante al centro storico di Montalcino. Locale molto piccolo con pochi posti. Il servizio e l’accoglienza sicuramente da migliorare. Niente da dire invece sulle pietanze veramente buone. Porzioni abbondanti, piatti ben preparati, qualità degli ingredienti.

Consigliato a chi capita a montalcino. Trattoria tipica. Cibo di buona qualità molto casalingo. Tavola bene apparecchiata. Ambiente carino. Costo direi congruo. Scelta menù per tutti i gusti contenuta ma allettante. Vino ottimo.

Locale carino anche se molto piccolo e tavoli piuttosto stipati e troppo vicini di conseguenza anche un po' rumoroso di certo non intimo ma essendo una trattoria va bene. Cibo ottimo, abbiamo preso un antipasto molto buono e abbondante e anche la tagliata era davvero eccellente come il vino, un Brunello buonissimo. Servizio cortese ma un po' lento e poco organizzato. Nel complesso buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, da rifare e consigliato

Dopo un buon antipasto, anche se ce lo aspettavamo più variegato, sono arrivati i primi. Non so se è stato un caso, ma purtroppo le nostre pappardelle al cinghiale non sapevano proprio di niente... Pasta cotta al punto giusto ma completamente senza sale in cottura, ragù che ci ha fatto addirittura pensare ad un altro tipo di carne. Niente da dire sul servizio, tutto si è svolto regolarmente, la cameriera disponibile e cortese. Sarò curioso di ripassare in futuro per riprovarci e poter migliorare la nostra valutazione [4 persone].

Buon ristorante in centro a Montalcino. Ottimi le pappardelle di cinghiale e il cinghiale in umido, davvero ben fatta la riduzione di Brunello per il brasato di vitello. A cercare il difetto, i tavoli sono un po' troppo vicini l'uno all'altro, si sta un po' strettini.
