Found by chance along the road, we went in believing that they had a fixed menu which they naturally do during the week for those who work, we ordered the lolli with fresh porcini mushrooms as a first course, really very good, the pasta cooked to perfection, really very good, second we had the boiled beef served in an airtight mouth with all its sauce, cooked very well and with just the right amount of salt, really very good, a unique experience for the palate. Advised

splendid and easily digestible pizza, during dinner the owner, as well as the one who bakes the wonderful pizzas, explained to us that he uses ancient grains and works them delicately, I would say that the result is wonderful, some of us took the shank and the boiled in a jar, everyone happy, well done

Try the mixed meat. However, over time the restaurant has lost a lot of its energy, I hope it has recovered since I went there

08/01/2024: Thanks to the suggestion of Emanuela, owner of a wine bar in Piazza Armerina, today I stopped for lunch with some American customers. What can I say, a wonderful surprise, La Gorda welcomes you in a simple way and makes you feel at home, a wide choice of natural labels and chef Mario prepares very good dishes of local cuisine revisited I believe from experiences around the planet. I'll be back soon with friends, thanks.
