A place that may seem touristy because it is on the pedestrian street. This is not the case and I highly recommend you go. The server was absolutely perfect (advice, smile, helpful) The dishes were delicious, in short, a perfect evening, thank you!!

Luckily today we were at Maidda. After yesterday's experience at Amici mie in Trapani (see my review), at Maidda they showed me that Sicilian catering is not what I ate yesterday. I return to Lombardy with a fantastic taste of aubergine caponata still in my mouth, 🔝, busiate with prawns, and other dishes that I won't list, but I assure you that whatever we ordered, the dishes returned shiny in the kitchen. I couldn't choose whether to praise the staff more for their professionalism or their friendliness/friendliness. However, we were pampered right from the start, and we ate very well for the right amount. Thanks guys, well done!!!

Una scoperta piacevole a Castellammare. È sul corso principale, una trattoria senza pretese nell'aspetto, ma attendete prima di giudicare. Prendete qualsiasi cosa, vedrete che vi stupirà. La semplice caponata è gustosissima, il primosale arrostito con alice e confettura di arance è paradisiaco e i maccheroni con sarde e finocchetto sono semplicemente uniche. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, prezzi onesti, qualità eccelsa. Consigliato.

L'ultima serata in sicilia ci hanno consigliato questa trattoria tipica siciliana. Mai ho ringraziato abbastanza il mio consigliere. Accolti da personale gentilissimo, disponibile che ci ha suggerito abbinamenti rivelatisi molto gustosi. Ottima presentazione con gli antipasti caldi e freddi per 2 persone. I ravioli in salsa di pistacchio ed i maccheroni alla Norma condivisi con mia moglie (1/2 piatto a testa) hanno ritagliato nel mio palato un piacevole ricordo dei primi siciliani. Porzioni abbondanti mi hanno trattenuto nell'affrontare i secondi a base di pesce che vedevo passare. Il semifreddo al pistacchio ed il parfait di mandorle (sempre al 50% con moglie) hanno concluso un pasto dal ricordo indelebile. Trattoria (al massimo livello) che consiglio vivamente di provare per chi passa per Castellammare del Golfo.

27/12/2023: Siamo QUI in questa Location araba 👳🏿‍♂️ ( Tunisina 🇹🇳 per la precisione ) per gustarci - oltre al solito CUS CUS - un Dessert 🍮 arabo del quale avevamo tanto sentito parlare 🗣️ dai nostri Amici siciliani …. E così è stato : dopo l’immancabile CUS CUS che ci ha riempito rapidamente lo “ stomego “ ( stomaco ) , abbiamo chiesto questo 🍮 Dolce 🍮 , particolare nel gusto 👅 perché tra gli ingredienti figura - oltre alla crema Pasticciera - anche quella di “ Semi di Pino d’Aleppo “ ( Zgougou ) ! Nel contenitore 🫙 dove è stato servito abbiamo trovato lo strato “ scuro “ di Zgougou in basso e poi lo strato della crema Pasticcera sopra ; infine un sottile strato di guarnizione a coprire il tutto realizzato con pasta di mandorle e micro - palline di zucchero colorato . Uauuuuuu …….. !! 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 Altre cose da dire : Ambiente semplice e dai colori arabeggianti , Piatti e Pirofile da portata con disegni colorati , Servizio in Sala in modalità “ andamento lento “ all’araba maniera , cordialità diffusa tra il Personale operante , Conto finale nella media …… trapanese . Sintesi : soddisfatti di questa esperienza e soprattutto dell’ ASSIDAT ZGOUGOU 🍮 !!

Agriturismo La Valle Dei Tramonti

13/03/2024: My wife and I passed by chance attracted by the name of the farmhouse, we stopped for dinner. Fantastic experience for both the palate and the heart. We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism, we were offered a tasty and abundant round of appetizers with the true flavors of Sicily, which alone is practically a dinner, and then continued with a choice of excellent first courses or grilled meats. I chose the fantastic Trapanese busiate!!! Furthermore, as I said at the beginning, it was also fantastic for the heart, the owner entertained us and a company of 30 other people, giving us karaoke music and dancing in an atmosphere full of joy and fun. A big thank you to the owner and all the staff, for the excellent dinner and the beautiful evening.
27/02/2024: We were lucky enough to have dinner at the Valle dei Tramonti farmhouse. We tried the starter and main course menu: all very good. Abundant and tasty dishes, worthy representatives of Sicilian cuisine! Highly recommended!
