Very nice place surrounded by greenery. Friendly staff and super owner. I went with friends and the 4 of us ate an excellent Florentine steak! Perfect cooking Delicious desserts Excellent and I absolutely recommend it! I'll be back for sure. The steak was remarkable in both weight and taste!😀

An excellent Tuscan trattoria which has the pleasant peculiarity of welcoming you immersed in the green hills a few kilometers from San Casciano V.Pesa. It must be pleasant in winter to eat in front of the crackling fireplace, but in good weather it is very pleasant to have lunch outdoors. Family-run but still with friendly and attentive service. Traditional Tuscan dishes: the typical Florentine steak is not missing but the main traditional dishes are present. I enjoyed a plate of mixed fried meat and vegetables which included some pieces of excellent brains. The pici are delicious. The artichoke pie is very good. The selection of wines is very good and satisfies the most demanding. The price is average in the area and therefore good for the quality of what is offered.

If you can get a table, take it! We wanted to leave the crowds and tourists of Florence and experience real Tuscany. Loved that the menu was all in Italian. Loved that we were the only non-Italians in the restaurant. Every course we had was exceptional. Beyond delicious! The owner and his wife Cristina were lovely. They are wonderful hosts who make you feel like a friend immediately. Will definitely be back. Tuscany at its finest ❤️🫶🏻

It will be the sunny spring day... it will be being able to be outdoors in short sleeves, the sun. But here there is a beautiful veranda surrounded by greenery and you eat like God. In fact, as they say here, you eat daddieci. Very kind staff and beautiful area

It was the occasion of a visit from the Far East which led us to invite the guest to a typical Tuscan Trattoria, a little outside the circle of Florentine tourist places, which are always a little crowded. We were very pleased to choose the Baracchina between Scopeti and Sant'Andrea in Percussina. A place we were already familiar with, but which confirmed the excellent impression we had built over time. Starting from the owner's service between the tables, continued with the young assistant, we tasted excellent traditional Florentine and Tuscan dishes. The idea of ​​confirming the booking with the WhatsApp message is excellent, although not new among the venues, but still a useful reminder. From the kitchen only excellent dishes of raw materials, well cooked and presented. The wine list is not very long, perhaps lacking a greater number of wines with a quality/price ratio that are more economically "affordable" than wine by the glass, but the cork left on the table for possible takeaway is a detail that not everyone the premises is respected. The guest, despite not being used to Tuscan dishes, really enjoyed it and was very satisfied. I recommend you go there at least once, if you return let me know, perhaps by publishing a post too.

Very nice restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The venue is developed over multiple environments: internal and outdoor (covered) verandas. Land menu with traditional Florentine dishes of the day. We took 2; a Chianti tuna, a chickpea soup, a vegetarian spaghetti and a peasant lampredotto (stewed).... accompanied by a local rosé wine. For dessert, a sage creme brulè. All good but the lampredotto is particularly tasty. Average prices. Punctual and courteous service. Definitely worth trying! Well done!✌️

06/05/2024: The meat is really, really delicious. I went two days in a row. On the first day, I ate 0.98 kg of meat, Tuscan appetizer, and garlic spinach, and on the second day, I ate 1.39 kg of meat, potato dish, and the white stuff in the earthenware pot you see in the picture. I didn't know what the white thing was, so I just showed the picture and ordered it, but it was melted cheese? It's very sweet, savory, and delicious. The spinach is very moist and soaked in oil, but it's not greasy and the seasoning is just right. The potatoes look like they were boiled with a lot of salt and sugar. They are delicious. The potatoes are also delicious. I ordered 1kg of meat both days. On the first day, there was a little less tenderloin, and on the second day, there was a lot of tenderloin, perhaps because the meat was large. If you don't like the part, just ask for it to be changed. The tenderloin was definitely more tender, but the sirloin was definitely not tough! For reference, make sure to load rare. If you cook it any longer, it gets tough. The meat was really delicious and I want to eat it again.. I drank Chianti wine two days in a row. Try a bottle of Chianti Classico Reserva for 45 euros. It’s okay. If you make a reservation at The Fork, you will get a 20% discount except for some menu items, so make a reservation. Reservations are essential, especially around 9 o'clock as it is dinner time here!
