A place out of time and a happy discovery!
We happened upon this restaurant almost by chance and were catapulted into the flavors of deep Piedmont: veal with tuna sauce, peppers in bagna cauda, raw meat tartare, panissa, Piedmontese mixed fried food...
We opted for the fixed price menu. All very good.
Quick and impeccable service.
Correct costs for quality and quantity.

Cucina tradizionale piemontese, ottima accoglienza, servizio perfetto tempo di sedersi a tavola e sono arrivati gli antipasti, salame ,carne cruda insalata russa, vino dolcetto perfetto con i piatti, a seguire i primi con gli assaggi di panissa, ravioli , minestra di fagioli. Per finire fritto misto e classico bunet.

This is an old fashioned restaurant, similar to others in the Piedmont countryside, boasting a very long tradition, as they are open since the end of the 18th century. The menu is very classical, with all the typical Piedmontese dishes, ranging from famous starters such as the well known declinations of carpaccio and "vitello tonnato", to the pasta first courses, and going on with the regionwide famous "fritto misto". Among the first courses, it's worth mentioning the "panissa", which is a dish based on rice and beans, that is typical only in this particular area of the Piedmont, not throughout the region. The service is rather quick and the waiters are efficient, with some exceptions for specific people. The owner is not really rude, but her manners are a bit rough, unrefined. The food quality is about average, not really special, except for the starters, which are generally good. Not bad, but a modest value for money.
