Family-run restaurant, the outside is a bit anonymous but it also has its charm, the inside is rustic, very welcoming, well looked after and with a fireplace that creates a lot of atmosphere. Excellent cuisine and good value for money. We will be back

On a trip to Piedmont we stopped at this restaurant in a hamlet of Carisio.
From the outside the place doesn't look like much, but inside it is very nice with fireplaces and stoves lit, very nice and welcoming.
The family-run management is very fast, kind and helpful.
The food is excellent, the portions are generous.
Typical Piedmontese cuisine.
Excellent value for money, we will definitely return.
The photo on the receipt is for a lunch for 2 people.

Fantastic family restaurant. We wanted to eat fried frogs, a typical Vercelli dish, and while searching the internet we found this place. Fantastic... kindness, friendliness and delicious local food, typical Piedmontese.
We come back whenever we can.

Modest prices and typical local cuisine. More could be done in the kitchen and in the room than in the entrance from an idea that is then dismantled in the following rooms. Good alternative if passing through or spending little. Good appetizers and agnolotti. I wouldn't eat meat again, lots of bones and less meat, better first courses and desserts. We didn't have the opportunity to taste the Piedmontese fried food for which we will probably return, nor the frogs that we saw going for the most part.

The real grandmother's trattoria in pure Italian tradition. We randomly stopped for a quick lunch on the way to Courmayeur from Milan. Informal but very welcoming environment complete with fireplace. They welcomed us even though it was late, well after the classic lunch time and this is no small feat nowadays. The beef carpaccio and the tomini cime appetizer were very good. Absolutely try the agnolotti with wild boar sauce. The kindness and friendliness of the owner completes everything.

In un locale 'nomale' di trattoria di paese vengono serviti piatti tradizionali ottimi. Dagli antipasti fino al dessert passando per il pesce in carpione e le rane fritte: un tripudio di gusto e genuinita'. Buono anche il vino della casa sia bianco che nero.

Scoperto per caso…. È la vecchia trattoria di un tempo, in mezzo alle risaie… bellissimo!!
Camerieri gentilissimi, antipasti ottimi, come anche la faraona in umido (sublime) e i contorni.
Peccato per la panissa… quella ci è piaciuta un po’ meno, ma torneremo di sicuro e proveremo altro.
