Trattoria Bruxaboschi In Genova

I confess that I rarely come here, but every time it is a special experience. Highly recommended

It was the first time even though I had always known the name. Pleasant environment, precise service and traditional dishes with spectacular desserts. A more than pleasant experience, so much so that we also booked for Easter Monday.

Unpretentious place, friendly staff, calm service. Personally, together with a table of friends we opted for a "pizza tour". Abundant pizza, two or three rounds, on large pre-portioned cutting boards, cheese focaccia, and finally farinata! In short, you have to say enough otherwise they'll kill you😂😂😂 Everything is good, you leave with a decidedly full stomach, and with beers and coffee you spend less than €20! What more do you want? I've seen other tables that offer à la carte restaurant service, but I'll let you know until next time... Thank you.

All delicious... especially the mushrooms, worth coming back. The place and the venue itself are evocative, the staff are efficient and kind... what can I say, well done!

Years pass but the quality always remains at the top

One of the best restaurants of Genoa (not only my opinion but I also heard it from my Genoese friends) with 160 years history in a remote, nice and calm district of San Desiderio. Great food an nice atmosphere. A great example of an Italian family run restaurant with friendly owners and staff.

Io, genovese, frequento questo locale dagli anni '60, non ho mai scritto una recensione poiché mi sarebbe sembrato di parlare di "casa mia". Superfluo parlare della cucina, del locale e dei titolari: non sarei loro cliente da "una vita". Voglio solo esprimere la mia soddisfazione nel vedere che ogni volta che frequento il Bruxaboschi, le visite che faccio a questo locale sono molto diluite nel tempo, trovo sempre la stessa cucina superlativa con qualche sorpresa nel vedere variazioni che, se fosse possibile, ne migliorano la qualità. La voglia di complimentarmi non viene però solo dalla soddisfazione del palato: qualche sera fa con mia moglie, sofferente nella respirazione, e due coppie di amici siamo stati nel locale ed alla fine, al momento dell'uscita, una crisi respiratoria di mia moglie ne ha reso necessario il trasporto a braccia, i due titolari hanno voluto ad ogni costo essere loro a portarla all''auto, facendola accomodare su una sedia e portandola di peso. Grazie per tutto!!!

A distanza di molti anni sono ritornato in questo locale e come allora sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Il locale è rimasto pressoché immutato per quello che posso ricordare, ambiente informale, ampio e ben curato. Personale gentile, sorridente e alla mano. Cibo della tradizione ligure, sapientemente preparato e di ottima qualita. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo anzi più che ottimo. Da provare assolutamente...sia in coppia che in comitiva anche numerosa.

Veramente uno dei top ristoranti (o, per meglio dire, trattorie) di Genova. Risotto coi funghi da svenimento. Fritto misto sempre buono. Cantina infinita.
