A superb discovery on the corner of an alley. A warm welcome and very good advice for a pleasant tasting of local wines. The sharing platter “piatto singolo di antipasti” is fantastic, as well as the incredible “parmigiana di melanzane”. Go there with your eyes closed and let yourself be carried away by the inspiration of the place.

Bar/ristorante che all'apparenza può sembrare un locale senza troppe pretese ma offre prodotti ottimi e molta varietà. Consigliato l'aperitivo da dividere che risulta l'equivalente di un pasto completo. Prezzi relativamente alti ma considerata la posizione centralissima non ci si può lamentare. Apprezzata l'opinione della signora che ci ha serviti che a costo di perdere qualcosa sul conto ci ha consigliato di aspettare ad ordinare altro oltre al tagliere misto. Molto consigliato!

The food was good but not great. The pistachio pasta was a little too salty. The food was obviously premade and not cooked to order as it arrived really quickly and we could see many premade items sitting in the front case. It was not the cozy atmosphere and nice dining experience we were hoping for, Service was efficient with an online menu you had to access from your phone with no specials even discussed. Our server,(the owner perhaps) seemed disinterested and tired. We even watched him toss an empty water bottle up on the counter only to have it fall back down on someone's table. He also sat at a table on his phone the whole time and barely engaged with us at all. Not very professional and definitely not warm and welcoming. We know a little Italian and would have appreciated even a little friendly conversation. The small restaurant felt crowded (with stuff not people) and seat cushions were worn thin. We would have preferred to sit outside but the tables were right on the street where a few cars were passing by very tightly when we arrived. We were charged an additional cover charge on top of our wine and meals. With so few meals in Siracusa this was a disappointing choice.
