Really cool small plates bar. Was looking for something different to the standard traditional fare and we found it. Fresh, unusual plates, delivered elegantly.

Tapasotto is one of my favorite places and if you go to Verona you cannot go and eat the splendid cicchetti created by Federico Zonta and guaranteed by Chef Giancarlo Perbellini, they are the bomb! At his side we find Thomas always on point and the legendary Ciski in the room. We took deviled quail legs…. Photonics! Delicious cotechino bombettes and green sauce. Puntarelle with anchovy, crostini and pecorino and I liked them a lot... a Roman word! WOW sandwich and horseradish mayo….it really is Wow! Red lentil ragout and very delicate Jerusalem artichoke foam. Braised bok choy cauliflower cream almond milk and mustard my husband said Bono! Egg in glass, parmesan foam, delicious tomato and basil sauce. Scrambled mountain eggs, taleggio foam and chives the son nods. Fabulous tiramisu and dark apple with cinnamon and almond biscuit top! obviously the fantastic Soave di Inama could not be missing! what else can I tell you…let's go!

If you go to Verona you cannot "not go" to Perbellini. Tapasotto could be the beginning.

Entriamo alla ricerca di un posto dove pranzare e veniamo affascinati dall'arredamento stile Barcellona. Il nome poi promette bene "tapas" e io adoro gli antipasti. Oltre a quelli nel menù ce ne sono altri, oggi con il tartufo. Tutto molto buono. Hanno tantissimi cicchetti e poi taglieri o di carne o di formaggio. Due birre e poi dolce: torta alla carota con zabaione super. Se mai torneremo a Verona, locale da visitare nuovamente,

Eh si, perché così si chiamano gli equivalenti delle tapas spagnole. A dire il vero più che tapas, le portate sono delle porzioni ridotte di piatti più o meno tradizionali ma, ed è ciò che conta, davvero buoni. Ambiente carino ed informale, servizio attento ma non invadente. Bravi !
