San Martino Bistrot In Bologna

Very characteristic in the historic center. We wanted to try the famous trio of first courses which fully satisfied us. Impeccable service.

I used to frequent the place even under the old management, but now it has really made a leap in quality. It is in the historic center and therefore perfect both for students looking for fun/relaxation and for tourists around Bologna... but also for us Bolognese who love to take a stroll in the center in the evening! The food is divine and the portions are generous, with very honest prices. I had a truly delicious plate of tagliatelle with meat sauce (and there was a ton of meat sauce!!). I don't drink alcohol but my friends ordered some very original cocktails, and they really liked them, making the second round. The owner was very kind and accommodated all our requests. So super approved for me!😀

Everything was full in Bologna and we found this place. Restaurant with a terrace that does not promise anything, but the Grilled Vegetables with Mozzarella, and the Tagliatelle Bolognese are good. Also the Chicken Tortellini with Parmesan sauce. Despite the look of the place, the food was not bad. Fair service. Little public.

A quick and excellent business lunch, worth returning to in the evening to enjoy a few more dishes from the menu more calmly

Siamo stati in questo piccolo locale a cena, il posto e’ carino, anche se avevamo il tavolo con dietro il bagno e le scale, forse la disposizione dei tavoli al piano andrebbe rivista, specie in ambito di sicurezza, perché mettere delle sedie con dietro le scale che scendono senza alcuna protezione può essere non conforme alle norme di sicurezza. Il personale e’ gentile. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi tortellini in crema di parmigiano, and che i passatelli in brodo erano buoni. Da provare la cheesecake. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Sicuramente un posto dove ritornare, magari prenotando al piano superiore o nella bella stagione stando fuori nel plateatico.

Excellent food, my husband and I really enjoyed it. Nothing to complain about the service, I don't say this very often, but really excellent. The only small flaw, perhaps the tables inside were too close to the bathroom
