We are a group of cycle tourists who are doing the heroic thing, we stopped in Montalcino and by chance we discovered this truly wonderful restaurant for the food, for the price, the unique first courses, the meat on display maintains the quality of the display, desserts in the norm, service informal, we had dinner in the very suggestive wine shop, I recommend it

I had a pizza dinner with colleagues, we waited a long time before they came to take our order, they didn't have coke on tap even though it was on the menu, the pizza arrived and the quality of the food wasn't that great. Maybe taking restaurant food, maybe meat, the dining experience could have been better.

I was in Montalcino for three days for work, I had dinner in this restaurant, wonderful people, very kind waiters, very nice place, delicious and plentiful food, I recommend it

A very good restaurant and pizzeria, big menu and a large dining space. I had pizza, but I think many people come for the meat. Kind and warm atmosphere.

Staff are very kind and attentive and really hospitable. Ambiance is good. However, food unfortunately is very much sub-bar: we ordered chicken brunello and it was barely edible; too sour, lacking taste. Pizza was mediocre. Steak was also average. We won’t visit again.

Da dire c'è poco...un menù spettacolare, una location che ti lascia a bocca aperta, antipasti, primi con pasta fresca fatta in casa, selezione di vini incredibile, per poi passare a sua maestà la fiorentina....over the top!! Complimenti 🔝🔝🔝

Carne veramente molto buona, ma viene servita su una pioda rovente che rischia di cuocerla troppo se non viene tolta in fretta. Patate al forno troppo crude.

27/10/2023: Siamo stati a pranzo io e la mia compagna e ci siamo trovati bene ambiente carino il cibo buono e poi sono stati molto gentili
08/08/2023: Peccato non si possano segnare 10 stelle!!!per chi non sa che cosa era la vera tradizione culinaria toscana deve venire qui ...locali come questi non esistono più da 40 anni e i prezzi sono quelli ante COVID!gestori molto acuti e accorti,gentili e rapidi.ottima la ribollita vera e i crostini senesi,le pappardelle al sugo bono e il vino a calo (maledetti i calici e chi li adora: sintomo di pochezza di Spirito e bongout).tutto eccezionale!

29/03/2024: I do not often write reviews but I make time for this one. We’ve been in Italy for two weeks now (me & my girlfriend) and I need to say this is by far the best place we’ve been! We felt super welcome by the whole crew, they are all super friendly and everyone has clearly there jobs wich is fascinating to see. To give you some more context my Girlfriend doesn’t barely eat meat only on special occasions or when it’s really good. I go often to a famous meat restaurant in Belgium, where they serve what I thought very good meat. But this restaurant raised the bar to the next level. The men that explained every single type of meat did definitely know what he was talking about, I did say that we prefer a meat that was soft, we’ve ended up with the Frisona Baltica. And gosh it was. My Girlfriend did say: THIS IS THE BEST MEAT I’VE EVER EAT! And I need to say she was right. The recommended wine was super nice and did fit the meat perfectly. To the restaurant please keep doing what you are doing, and when I’m in Italy I definitely come back!
