Royal Ristobar In Millesimo

02/10/2023: Thanks to the pandemic and their abbreviated schedule (no longer open for lunch), it has been over 3 years since we last enjoyed a meal at this pleasant village restaurant. I'm glad to report that the quality, simplicity and hospitality haven't wavered. On a Sunday evening, all of the patrons were foreigners. Some may own or rent places up here in this hilltop neighborhood. We do know that discerning Alassini also visit regularly. The menu offers 4 starters, 4 primis, 4 main dishes and 4 or 5 basic desserts. Driving up here and parking are real challenges. Best to take a taxi or the sporadic bus service. Yes, you can dine as well or better in town. But there is merit in making the effort to be somewhere different, a pretty venue with its own vibe. The kitchen delivers honest and satisfying dishes with minimal frills but a genuine integrity. In daytime, a 30-40 minute energetic walk zig zagging off the main road is an alternative way to return to the seashore.

18/08/2023: Il menù non è particolarmente ricco ma comunque ben eseguito, la location sopra ad Alassio merita per la vista e un po’ di relax dal caldo, non particolarmente agevole il parcheggio conto ok servizio ottimo
