We were greeted by the shuttle driven by Mr. Michele himself, creator of this magnificent family-run business. Shuttle service also offered. We were greeted with a welcome entrée of bruschetta and pancakes offered by the house, and by the smile full of satisfaction and pride of Ferdinando, the current owner and Michele's son. We ordered bucatini with Ischian-style rabbit ragù (a local specialty) and a casarecce dish, continuing with Ischian-style rabbit (a typical dish of the island) and sliced ​​beef with a side of fresh fried potatoes. All accompanied by local wine and an exquisite homemade tiramisu. Without even asking, Ferdinando surprised us with a taste of homemade blueberry liqueur kindly offered. The friendliness, the smile and the family environment that involved us is indescribable. Everyone is always smiling and ready to surprise you with fresh and genuine dishes. Not to mention the tranquility and warmth perceived as soon as you enter the room, and the breathtaking view that falls on the Aragonese Castle, one of the symbols of Ischia. In short, they undoubtedly deserve 5 full stars. Unbeatable quality and price in my opinion. Would we go back? Absolutely yes! It will be our fixed stop here in Ischia!!!
