Excellent quality traditional cuisine

I recommend it, we went to celebrate New Year's Eve in the company of friends. Small but the food was delicious, homemade and the owners were VERY KIND.

Nice experience, it's like eating at your aunt and uncle's house. We had a really good time, everything was good. It's a long way from Forlì but if we could we would definitely return soon! Advised! Paolo and Michela

Spessite is a small but very welcoming restaurant located in the historic center of Ostuni. We were there for lunch with some friends and Mrs. Angela welcomed us like an excellent hostess. The cuisine is traditional Apulian, simple but very good. The fixed menu is really convenient and full of dishes (we requested it when booking). Five stars deserved! We hope to return soon!

We felt very welcome, the food was fresh home-made and generous (especially the wine ❤️) We spent a nice time at the terrace, and the service was very friendly.

Amazing food and so delicious - cucina povera - excellent value and the pastas, grilled lamb and fabulous wines available by the glass - only small so book or come on time to get a table !! Run - don’t walk and get a booking here - recommend the orecchiette with turnip tops - UNBELIEVABLY GOOD

Nous sommes surpris par les commentaires que nous voyons, parce que ça ne représente pas du tout le restaurant dans lequel nous avons mangé. L’accueil était très chaleureux, la serveuse ainsi que le cuisinier sont des personnes charmantes et souriantes. Effectivement il y a peu de choix à la carte, puisque les plats sont préparés uniquement avec des produits frais et locaux. Les pâtes que nous avons prises étaient excellentes, les meilleures que nous ayons mangé dans les pouilles. Nous étions placés sur un petite terrasse extérieure avec une vue magnifique. Étonnamment au vu de la qualité, les plats ne sont pas chers (7€ les pâtes). Vraiment, ne lisez pas les commentaires négatifs et allez les yeux fermés dans ce restaurant si vous voulez manger d’excellentes pâtes !

L'esperienza in questo ristorante è stata davvero unica. Il cibo e i piatti offerti sono di altissima qualità, della tradizione locale e tutti direttamente preparati al momento dal cuoco. Eravamo una coppia ed abbiamo avuto la fortuna di essere stati piazzati sul balconcino, dove ci siamo potuti godere il tramonto su Ostuni. E infine, i prezzi sono davvero bassi per la qualità del cibo offerti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Tutto fantastico, se dovessi tornare ad Ostuni, andrei senz'altro da Spessite per mangiare quei piatti gustosi, unici e che sanno di Puglia. Grazie a tutti, non vi dimenticheremo!
